The Aam Aadmi Party’s Delhi State Convener and Cabinet Minister Shri Gopal Rai on Saturday held a public meeting in Kirari Assembly in support of INDIA alliance’s Congress candidate from North West Delhi, Shri Udit Raj. He said that this time’s election is not an ordinary election, but it is an election to fight to save the country’s constitution and democracy.
He said the Congress and the AAP volunteers should vote unitedly to save the Constitution and democracy. This time if you miss and if the BJP government comes to power again, then these people will change the Constitution and crush democracy. When there is no democracy and constitution, there will be no elections in Delhi. Therefore, leave all your grudges and become united in this fight. If you fail today, your generations will hold only you responsible for this dictatorship.
The Aam Aadmi Party state convenor said that the fifth phase of voting is taking place in the country on May 20. Delhiites have to vote in the sixth phase on May 25. Ever since the elections were announced in the country, PM Modi has been roaming around the country asking for votes. But people are saying that first give accounts of 10 years and then take votes. The BJP leader does not have answers to any of the public’s questions. This time he is saying ‘400 Paar’ on everything. Today the youth, students, women and farmers of the country are asking questions to the BJP on unemployment, inflation and farmers’ income. The public is asking why the wrestler daughters of the country were dragged by their hair when they raised their voice. But they have no answer. Today people across the country are raising slogans of ‘Is Baar BJP Ki Haar’.
Shri Gopal Rai said that till now the AAP and Congress used to contest elections separately and votes used to get divided. Today, the Prime Minister is worried as to why the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress have come together. This time’s election is not a fight to make MP or minister. This is a fight to save the country’s constitution and democracy. If you miss May 25 and the BJP forms the government again, the Constitution will be changed, and democracy will be crushed. If the Constitution and democracy do not survive, there will be no elections. If the Constitution of the country survives, only then the Aam Aadmi Party and Congress will also survive. That’s why I have come to tell you to save the parties for later, stand up on 25th May to save this country and the Constitution. This time, each vote of the Aam Aadmi Party and the Congress will be cast on the ‘hand’ (Congress symbol) of the INDIA alliance candidate Dr. Udit Raj in North-West Delhi. Shri Gopal Rai said that Dr. Udit Raj is the representative of saving the Constitution in today’s times.
