Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and INDIA bloc candidate from the New Delhi Lok Sabha seat, Shri Somnath Bharti, organized a massive road show in the Greater Kailash (GK) Assembly constituency today. During this, AAP MLA from GK and Delhi Government Minister Shri Saurabh Bharadwaj rode alongside Bharti on the ‘rath’ (chariot), while Municipal Councilors Krishna Jakhar from Chirag Delhi and Ashu Thakur from Chittaranjan Park also took part in the show of strength and solidarity. The event saw the participation of thousands of workers and local residents, with hundreds of cars and bikes joining the procession.
This roadshow started from Chirag Delhi Village at 6:00 pm and passed through Sheikh Sarai, Panchsheel Vihar, Khirki Extension, Greater Kailash Part 2, DDA Flats Kalkaji, Alaknanda and ended at Greater Kailash-1 at 9:00 pm. During the roadshow, local people standing at different places welcomed AAP and INDIA bloc candidate Shri Somnath Bharti by garlanding him and showering flowers. The people of the entire area raised their voice in support of AAP and Shri Arvind Kejriwal in unison. The People showed great enthusiasm and support for the Aam Aadmi Party. The people of the entire Greater Kailash blessed AAP’s Lok Sabha candidate Shri Somnath Bharti for victory in the election.
