Aam Aadmi Party’s Delhi State Convenor and Cabinet Minister Shri Gopal Rai on Friday held a Sankalp Sabha (resolution meeting) in Bijwasan Assembly of South Delhi Lok Sabha constituency under the ‘Jail ka Jawab Vote Se’ campaign. A large number of people were present in the meeting held in support of INDIA alliance candidate Sahiram Pahalwan.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Gopal Rai said that the people of Delhi are demanding an account of the work of its MPs from the BJP, but it has no answer. That is why the BJP cut their tickets. On the other hand, Shri Arvind Kejriwal gave people a life of dignity by providing all facilities, including roads, electricity, water, sewerage in the colonies. Apart from this, he has provided free electricity, water, education, health, pilgrimage to the elderly and other facilities. The people of Delhi are very happy with Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s work and are standing with him. That is why the BJP put him in jail. An appeal to the people of Delhi is to compare the work of the MLAs of the BJP and the AAP; if our work is good, then only press the ‘broom’ (AAP symbol) button, he said.
Shri Gopal Rai said that this election is not an ordinary election. Our future depends on this election. This election is an election to save the country and the Constitution. The whole country is waiting for June 4. The result of the election is going to come on June 4. Four phases of voting have been completed. Voting will be held in Delhi on May 25 in the sixth phase. The people of Delhi and the country gave 10 years of opportunity to the BJP to run the government and work. Delhiites also gave Arvind Kejriwal 10 years of opportunity to run the government and work. Today when the BJP candidates are coming to seek votes, people are asking them to first give the account of 10 years, then ask for votes. But the BJP has no answer. All BJP leaders give only one answer like parrots that this time they will get over 400 seats. The BJP leaders have no answer to the questions of unemployment, inflation, martyrdom of farmers, Manipur and wrestler daughters. The whole country is saying that this time the BJP will lose, he said.
The AAP Delhi State Convenor said the BJP candidate from South Delhi is an MLA from Tughlakabad and AAP candidate Sahiram Pahalwan is an MLA from Badarpur. People of South Delhi, put Ramveer Singh Bidhuri’s work on one side of the scale and Sahiram Pahalwan’s on the other. If Sahiram’s side weighs more, then press the ‘broom’ button on May 25. For the last 10 years, the BJP used to win elections because the Congress and the AAP used to fight elections separately. Votes used to get divided. But this time both are fighting elections together. This time the BJP will not be able to make any difference. The BJP’s defeat is certain. After the formation of INDIA alliance, the BJP got scared and changed all the candidates, but the people of Delhi did not forgive them.
