Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh on Tuesday held a ‘Sankalp Sabha’ (resolution meeting) in Uttam Nagar and Vikaspuri assembly of West Delhi Lok Sabha constituency under the ‘Jail Ka Jawab Vote Se’ campaign. In the meeting held in support of INDIA alliance candidate Mahabal Mishra, people took an oath to answer the jail by voting.
Shri Sanjay Singh said the Chief Minister who worked to provide you free electricity, water, education, and health facilities, was put in jail by the BJP people. Therefore, you people should answer Arvind Kejriwal’s incarceration with your vote. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party always works in the interest of Delhiites, but BJP works to loot Delhi. We are working for the honour of soldiers, farmers, mothers and sisters and the BJP is putting us in jail. At the same time, they are inducting corrupt people from all over the country in their party. Therefore, they have to be defeated and the INDIA alliance has to win.
Shri Sanjay Singh said that Shri Mahabal Mishra has been a three-time MLA and MP and has always been raising the issue of the rights of the people of Purvanchal all over Delhi. The BJP changed its candidate and accepted that their MP had been rejected. Whereas Shri Mahabal Mishra has served you for years, this time elect him as MP and send him to Parliament. The Aam Aadmi Party is formed to do good to the people of Delhi and the BJP is formed to loot the people of Delhi. The BJP stops the work of Delhi, and the Aadmi Party works to fight for the people of Delhi. Our party chief Shri Arvind Kejriwal was arrested in a false case and put in jail. Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s only crime is that he provided free electricity and water, built a Mohalla clinic, made free bus travel for women and organized pilgrimage for the elderly. The answer to putting such a Chief Minister in jail has to be given by voting.
The Rajya Sabha MP said that Shri Arvind Kejriwal came up with a scheme of giving Rs 1000 per month to mothers and sisters. He brought Farishtey scheme so that if there is a road accident in Delhi, it can be treated free of cost. There is not a single government in the country that provides such facility. But they put your son in jail. Shri Manish Sisodia is the best education minister in entire India. Newspapers in America and Britain write about him and there is discussion all over the world. He was also put in jail. Shri Satyendar Jain implemented the scheme to make electricity free. To silence my voice, they kept me in jail for six months. But from the day I came out, I have given sleepless nights to the BJP people.
Shri Sanjay Singh said that when farmers come to Delhi to protest, they put nails on the road and use water cannons to stop them. As many as 750 farmers have given their life in the movement. We have to avenge the martyrdom of those farmers with our votes. Shri Arvind Kejriwal announced financial assistance of Rs 1 crore to the families of Delhi Police personnel and soldiers who were martyred while protecting the border. Shri Arvind Kejriwal is the first Chief Minister in the country to announce the honorarium. Today we are working for the honour of soldiers, farmers, mothers and sisters and the BJP is putting us in jail. Even if Shri Narendra Modi puts the entire party in jail, the people of Delhi will respond with their votes.
The senior AAP leader said that the people are important in democracy. We have got the power of vote from Baba Saheb’s Constitution. The BJP people are singing that those who have brought Ram, we will bring him. So much ego is not good in politics. Lord Shri Ram is the creator of the universe. He is our deity; he is our God. Ram has brought us; you are not going to bring Ram. They are insulting our God. The BJP people do not have a single work to show. I want to tell the people of Delhi that when the BJP people come, you should ask for the account of their work. If they do not have a work report card, then they should get zero marks. The corrupt people of the entire country are with the BJP and Narendra Modi. Electoral bonds are the biggest corruption in India. If anyone has done liquor scam, it has been done by the BJP. The chief scamster Sarath Reddy has donated Rs 60 crore to the BJP. This time they have to be defeated and the candidates of INDIA alliance have to win.
