Senior AAP leader and Delhi Cabinet Minister Ms. Atishi on Tuesday held meetings in various areas of Kalkaji Assembly segment to seek support for INDIA alliance’s Lok Sabha candidate from South Delhi, Shri Sahiram Pahalwan. People participated in all these meetings with enthusiasm and expressed their support for the Aam Aadmi Party.
On this occasion, senior AAP leader Ms. Atishi said that the people of the country elected the BJP at the Centre for two consecutive terms, gave Shri Modi 10 years to work, but the BJP and Shri Narendra Modi did nothing and only gave fancy assurances to the people. She said that when the BJP came to power, it promised to reduce inflation but in the last 10 years, instead of bringing it down, inflation kept rising. Today, an LPG cylinder, which was worth Rs 300 in 2014, is being sold for Rs 1200. Petrol prices are skyrocketing. The prices of goods of daily needs are also skyrocketing. It has become difficult for the common man to run his household.
She said that Shri Narendra Modi and the BJP had promised to provide jobs to 2 crore youth every year, but far from providing jobs, they snatched jobs from the people and today unemployment in the country is at its peak.
Ms. Atishi said that Shri Narendra Modi had promised to end corruption, bring back black money from abroad and deposit Rs 15 lakh in every person’s account. This promise of Shri Narendra Modi also proved to be bogus. Neither corruption ended, nor black money came nor Rs 15 lakh came into people’s accounts. On the contrary, today Shri Narendra Modi has brought the most corrupt people of the country into the BJP.
She said that today, the public is fed up with the dictatorship and rhetoric of Shri Narendra Modi and the BJP and will definitely give a reply to the BJP for its rhetoric with the power of its votes in this Lok Sabha election.
The senior AAP leader stated that Shri Narendra Modi is the enemy of the poor. He does not want to remove poverty from the country but wants to remove the poor so that they can make their rich friends richer. That’s why Shri Narendra Modi promises to give houses wherever there are slums before the elections. But as soon as the elections are over, instead of giving houses to the poor, they bulldoze their houses and make them homeless.
She said that all leaders make promises to the public but only Shri Arvind Kejriwal knows how to fulfill them. This is the biggest reason for Shri Narendra Modi’s fear.
Ms. Atishi said that this time, the public has to decide whether they want to choose the one who provides free electricity and water, excellent schools and hospitals, Mohalla clinics, the one who provides free bus travel to women, the one who became Shravan Kumar of this generation by providing free pilgrimage to the elderly or vote for the party that makes false promises, break their promises, and hates the poor.
To this, the public replied that, this time they will not vote for the BJP which makes the poor homeless but for the Aam Aadmi Party which keeps its promises and will make Shri Sahiram Pahalwan win from the South Delhi Lok Sabha constituency. People said they have seen the dictatorship of the BJP, how Shri Arvind Kejriwal was put in jail in a false case. But this time, we will respond to the dictatorship of the BJP with our votes on May 25.
