Friday dawned with jubilation in Delhi as CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal emerged from the confines of Tihar Jail, buoyed by the grant of interim bail by the Supreme Court. The streets echoed with chants of celebration as Punjab CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann, accompanied by the Delhi government ministers and supporters, welcomed Shri Arvind Kejriwal with open arms. The release of Delhi’s beloved leader injected renewed vigour into the ranks of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), whose enthusiastic cadre greeted Kejriwal with a spectacle of bursting crackers and fervent cheers. In his first moments after the release, CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal wasted no time in reaffirming his commitment to safeguarding the nation from what he termed as ‘dictatorship’, rallying the nation’s 140 crore citizens to unite in this noble cause. As a testament to his faith and resolve, Shri Arvind Kejriwal announced his intention to seek the blessings of Hanuman ji at Connaught Place’s Hanuman Temple, symbolizing his unwavering dedication to the welfare of the people.

Emerging out of the sunroof of his vehicle, AAP National Convenor Shri Arvind Kejriwal greeted his fans who had assembled there to express their solidarity with him. Amidst huge uproar and sloganeering Shri Arvind Kejriwal addressed his supporters. The AAP Supremo started his address with chants of ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’, ‘Inquilab Zindabad’, and ‘Vande Mataram’ with great fervour.

CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal continued, “I told you already that I will come soon, and I’m here among you. Firstly, I seek blessings from Lord Hanuman, with his blessings today I’m among you. I thank all of you. Crores of people across the country sent me their blessings and kept me in their prayers. I want to thank the Supreme Court because of which I’m among you.”

CM Arvind Kejriwal appealed to the people of the country and said, “We all have to come together to save the country from dictatorship. We have to fight together against dictatorship. 140 crore people in the country will have to fight this dictatorship together. We will meet at Hanuman Mandir in Connaught Place on Saturday at 11 am. In the morning, we will go to Hanuman Mandir and have darshan of Lord Hanuman and take his blessings. As many people as possible should come to Hanuman Mandir at 11 am. We will all have ‘darshan’ of Hanuman ji together.”

Punjab CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann reaches Tihar to receive CM Arvind Kejriwal

As soon as the news of CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal getting interim bail was received, a wave of happiness ran among the leaders and workers of the Aam Aadmi Party. Punjab CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann also reached Delhi. After this, CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann along with Delhi government ministers and party leaders along with a large number of workers reached Tihar Jail to receive CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal. As soon as he came out of Tihar, CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal hugged Bhagwant Mann and other leaders and encouraged everyone.

Jail k taale toot gaye, Kejriwal chhoot Gaye

Thousands of his supporters, who had started gathering on the roads around the Tihar jail since afternoon when the news about his release broke, waited there till evening to get a glimpse of their leader. As soon as CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal came out of Tihar Jail, workers welcomed him warmly. During this, the workers raised slogans. The AAP supporters could be seen waving the party flag and distributing sweets to welcome their leader who had been in incarceration since March 21. Jubilation was visible on the faces of the thousands of admirers who raised slogans, ‘Jail ke taale toot gaye, Arvind Kejriwal chhoot gaye’ (Jail’s locks have been broken, Arvind Kejriwal has been released).

Workers celebrate Diwali

Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s release from jail was no less than a Diwali festival for AAP workers. The workers had also brought firecrackers with them. As soon as Shri Arvind Kejriwal came out of jail, the workers started bursting crackers. The round of fireworks continued for a long time.
