The Aam Aadmi Party’s Delhi State Convener and Cabinet Minister Shri Gopal Rai today held Sankalp Sabha in Chhatarpur Assembly and Mehrauli Assembly of South Delhi Lok Sabha constituency under the ‘Jail Ka Jawab Se Vote’ campaign. Urging the gathering to cast their vote in favour of the INDIA alliance candidate from South Delhi Shri Sahiram Pahalwan on May 25, Shri Gopal Rai said the Bharatiya Janata Party MPs did nothing in the last 10 years and this time people must elect the MPs who work for them.
Addressing the Sankalp Sabha in Chhatarpur, the Delhi State Convenor said that Shri Arvind Kejriwal has fulfilled his duty by providing many facilities including free electricity, water, education, health, pilgrimage to the elderly, bus travel for women. Now the people of Delhi are ready to practice their religion. On May 25, people will counter the power of BJP with the power of their votes and will win.
He said that the people of Delhi voted twice to elect BJP MPs, but no one came to do the work. That’s why people are angry. The crowd coming to the ‘Sankalp Sabha’ (resolution meeting) is telling that this time the people of Delhi are going to elect MPs who work for them.
Shri Gopal Rai said that the BJP has not done anything for the people of Delhi in 10 years. When people ask them about their work, the BJP people say ‘Abki baar 400 paar’ (This time they will cross 400). The BJP has no answer to inflation and unemployment. There is no answer as to why lathicharge was done on the farmers. The BJP gave ticket to the son of the person who brutalized women wrestlers. The BJP people are saying like a parrot that this time they will cross 400 and the people of the country are saying ‘Abki baar BJP ki haar’ (This time, the BJP will lose).
Shri Gopal Rai said the BJP used to win the Lok Sabha elections in Delhi because Aam Aadmi Party and Congress contested elections separately and the votes were divided. This time Congress and Aam Aadmi Party are fighting the elections together against the dictatorship of BJP. This time, the votes are not going to be divided and the India alliance is going to win, he added.
