Launching a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party for leveling frivolous allegations on AAP’s funding, senior AAP leader Shri Saurabh Bharadwaj said this is nothing but a political conspiracy against CM Arvind Kejriwal. Shri Saurabh Bharadwaj said the BJP made exactly the same allegations before the Punjab Assembly elections in 2022. At that time, Union Home Minister Amit Shah ordered an investigation too but nothing was found. Now once again the same allegation has been made by Ashoo Mongia, a BJP leader and General Secretary of an organization of which Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s brother is the President. By making these trite allegations, it is clear that the BJP is losing all the seven Lok Sabha seats of Delhi. The people of Delhi will respond to such cheap tactics by defeating the BJP which insulted CM Arvind Kejriwal, who has provided good education, health, free electricity, and water.
LG VK Saxena has written a letter to the Central Government recommending an NIA investigation against Aam Aadmi Party national convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal in connection with AAP’s funding. Criticising the Delhi LG, Shri VK Saxena, for becoming an agent of the Bharatiya Janata Party, senior AAP leader Shri Saurabh Bharadwaj said the LG is continuously adopting cheap tactics to tarnish the image of Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal at the behest of the BJP. And this is taking place just before the voting for all seven Lok Sabha seats of Delhi on May 25, added Shri Saurabh Bharadwaj.
The senior AAP leader said that at the behest of the BJP, a conspiracy has been hatched by the LG to recommend NIA investigation against Shri Arvind Kejriwal, so that the image of Arvind Kejriwal can be tarnished among the public. The BJP is doing all this through LG because it is clearly seeing its crushing defeat in the Lok Sabha elections. The BJP is also losing all the seven seats of Delhi and hence it is completely distraught. In this nervousness, the BJP has hatched this big conspiracy by making the LG a pawn.
Shri Saurabh Bharadwaj said that BJP tries to mislead the public by making similar allegations every time before the elections. The BJP had made the same allegation just before the Punjab Assembly elections in 2022. During that time, the country’s Home Minister Shri Amit Shah had talked about getting an investigation done, but nothing was found in the investigation. Whenever the BJP sees an electoral defeat coming, it resorts to making such allegations so that it can mislead the public. Now once again the BJP has hatched a big conspiracy against Shri Arvind Kejriwal. This time also nothing will come out in the investigation and the public will not be misled by them, added the senior AAP leader.
In a tweet on his ‘X’ handle, Shri Saurabh Bharadwaj wrote: “LG saab has earlier asked for CBI investigation into complaint by person like Sukesh Chandrashekhar who is in jail for duping and cheating people with crores of rupees through his deception & manipulation. Sukesh had extorted 200 cr+ from a Corporate house in the name of office of HM Amit Shah. What more can be expected from LG saab.”
LG is trying to gain headlines amid elections: Saurabh Bharadwaj
Shri Saurabh Bharadwaj further said in a tweet: LG saab is desperately trying to make headlines during Election season. This is complete misuse of constitutional office of LG. The PIL demanding high level investigation in same matter was dismissed by Delhi High Court two years back. The Division Bench of Acting Chief Justice Vipin Sanghi and Justice Navin Chawla had rejected the plea filed by one Jagdish Sharma, stating that it is “completely frivolous”.
General secretary of organization of which PM Modi’s brother is president has complained
Ashoo Mongia, who complained against CM Arvind Kejriwal, is a Bharatiya Janata Party leader and the National General Secretary of the World Hindu Federation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s brother is the president of this organization. Besides, Ashoo Mongia has also been a member of the National Working Committee of BJP and former in-charge of West Bengal. The purpose of making such an allegation against AAP’s funding by a BJP official in the midst of Lok Sabha elections clearly shows that there is a big conspiracy behind it.
