In a move aimed at rallying public support, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has kickstarted its “Jail ka Jawab Vote se” campaign from the heart of East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency. Led by the Delhi State Convenor and Cabinet Minister, Shri Gopal Rai, the campaign took off from Vishwas Nagar in Shahdara, East Delhi.
Shri Gopal Rai fervently went door-to-door, exposing the BJP’s plot to incarcerate CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal, hindering his election campaigning efforts. The AAP has vowed to counter this suppression with ballots, echoing the sentiments of a populace deeply disheartened by Kejriwal’s imprisonment. Despite the Modi government’s attempts to stifle democratic processes, the AAP remains undeterred, determined to amplify Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s message across every doorstep. The unwavering support of Delhi’s residents emphasizes their resolute faith in Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s leadership, affirming their steadfast commitment as their Chief Minister.
Starting AAP’s campaign from the East Delhi Lok Sabha constituency, AAP Delhi State Convenor Shri Gopal Rai stated that the elected Chief Minister of Delhi has been tyrannically incarcerated by the Modi government. Today the Delhi chief minister can’t campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Therefore, from Tuesday onwards, AAP workers are conducting a door-to-door campaign, delivering messages on behalf of Shri Arvind Kejriwal, highlighting his achievements for the people of Delhi. The AAP workers emphasize how since the people of Delhi elected Shri Arvind Kejriwal as their Chief Minister, he has provided free 24-hour electricity, free water, improved schools and hospitals, free bus rides for women, and free pilgrimages for the elderly. This time, in the budget, he made a provision to give Delhi’s women ₹1,000 every month. CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal has worked for the people of Delhi, which is why they voted for him. However, the Modi government arrested him and put him in jail. Therefore, this campaign has started against his unlawful arrest.
“If the people of Delhi want a working Chief Minister to be released from jail, then the only way is to respond to jail with votes, to respond to jail with the ‘jhadu’. Therefore, from today, this slogan will resonate everywhere in Delhi, “Jhadu ki chot se,jail ka jawab vote se.” Under this door-to-door campaign, we will go as Shri Arvind Kejriwal to every house. Those for whom Shri Arvind Kejriwal has worked, will now work for him in this election. This is the purpose of this door-to-door campaign,” the AAP Delhi Convenor affirmed.
He further said that whoever he talked to regarding Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s imprisonment, all are saddened. They (people) question why the one they made Chief Minister has been put in jail during the elections? Everyone has promised to answer this in the elections. “The vote is the power of the people, and we believe that after the arrest of Shri Arvind Kejriwal, people’s emotional connection towards him has increased even more. This time, everyone will come together to defeat this tyranny and bring Shri Arvind Kejriwal out of jail,” he added.
Meanwhile, CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest has angered the people of Vishwas Nagar. They say that the entire Delhi knows that our son Shri Arvind Kejriwal has been put in jail by the BJP under a conspiracy. We will not let the BJP’s conspiracy succeed under any circumstances. We know that Delhi’s CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal and the AAP are honest. Delhi’s son Shri Arvind Kejriwal has done many good deeds for us. He has provided us with free electricity, free water, good schools, and good healthcare services. It is very wrong the way the BJP has incarcerated Delhi’s son. In the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, we will avenge this conspiracy by voting for the AAP. Our Chief Minister will soon be released from jail. During the door-to-door campaign, the people of Vishwas Nagar said that their blessings are with Shri Arvind Kejriwal. BJP wants to put our leader in jail and force him to resign. We request our Chief Minister not to resign under any circumstances, in any situation. If he resigns, BJP will succeed in its conspiracy. We chose Shri Arvind Kejriwal as our Chief Minister, and he will remain our Chief Minister.
