AAP Delhi State Convenor and Cabinet Minister in the Kejriwal Government, Shri Gopal Rai, stated in a press conference at the party headquarters that the Modi government, for the past two years, has been running a conspiracy to eliminate the Aam Aadmi Party and Shri Arvind Kejriwal by orchestrating a fake liquor scam in Delhi. The central government of the BJP has used the ED-CBI as its tools to systematically arrest each leader of the AAP based on false allegations. First, Satyendar Jain, then Manish Sisodia, and Sanjay Singh were arrested. Now, the Chief Minister of Delhi, Shri Arvind Kejriwal, has also been arrested. After Sanjay Singh was granted bail by the Supreme Court on Tuesday, it became clear that all these arrests were made without any evidence or proof, through intimidation, coercion, and by making government witnesses out of people. All of this truth came out in the Supreme Court. This is the biggest defeat of BJP’s conspiracy and tyranny. On Tuesday, all the conspirators of the BJP had to face the music.
The AAP Delhi State Convenor continued, “BJP leaders repeatedly claim that 9 summonses were sent to Shri Arvind Kejriwal and he didn’t appear for questioning, so he was arrested. On Tuesday, the BJP got an answer to this accusation in the court. because Shri Sanjay Singh didn’t receive a single summons prior to his arrest. Without sending any summons, the ED entered Sanjay Singh’s house and arrested him after five-six hours. Shri Sanjay Singh was kept in jail for six months, but no evidence or money trail was found. The ED found nothing in six months. There was nothing left for the ED to say in front of the court on Tuesday. This is the complete truth of the so-called liquor scam. Under the same conspiracy the leaders of ‘AAP’ and the Chief Minister of Delhi were arrested. CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal was imprisoned without any allegations. Sanjay Singh’s bail has exposed all the BJP’s conspiracies, and BJP has suffered a huge defeat.”
“In protest against CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest, the entire country gathered at Ramlila Maidan. There is a growing voice of dissent across the country against the Delhi CM’s arrest. Some people are speaking openly, while others are silently questioning whether this is becoming too much. The BJP-led central government is now engaging in even more tyranny. Everyone is saying that this is the peak of injustice and tyranny. This is turning into a dictatorship. Our country’s name is being defamed worldwide,” he added.
Shri Gopal Rai further added that after the massive rally at Ramlila Maidan, the conspirators of the BJP are feeling the pressure. All BJP conspirators are now worried that the arrest of Shri Arvind Kejriwal might backfire on them heavily. Because now, there is discussion across the country about why the Chief Minister, who dedicated his life for the people, is in jail today? Is there any evidence against him? Has he been sentenced? People are saying that just like Sanjay Singh was kept in jail for six months based on allegations, similarly, CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal has been sent to jail only on the basis of allegations. BJP and the Modi government have arrested CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal by intimidating people, coercing fake statements, and using threats.
The AAP Delhi State Convenor mentioned, “On Tuesday, BJP spokespersons were saying that the ED is very impartial, and because of this Shri Sanjay Singh got bail. It seems that BJP spokespersons are not even ashamed. For the past two years, BJP spokespersons have been singing the same tune. Why is bail not being granted? Bail is not being granted, so the ‘AAP’ leaders in jail are dishonest. Now, when Shri Sanjay Singh got bail, these spokespersons are saying that the ED is impartial, but you are dishonest. According to BJP, now Sanjay Singh’s bail is not a measure of his honesty, but a measure of ED’s impartiality. BJP should be ashamed. BJP’s sins are catching up with it.”
“When someone gets to power receiving people’s blessings, they get consumed by the arrogance of power. Then, the one who bestows blessings has to find a solution. Even Ravana received blessings, but he became consumed by the arrogance of power. We have heard the stories of Ramayana where Ravana’s end came. Even Hiranyakashyap became consumed by arrogance. Even Kansa became consumed by arrogance.
