Delhi Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal will reveal with evidence in the court on March 28 where the money of the so-called liquor scam is, said his wife Smt Sunita Kejriwal at a virtual press conference held here today.
Smt Sunita Kejriwal had a meeting with her husband Shri Arvind Kejriwal, who is in the custody of the Enforcement Directorate, last evening.
Referring to the Tuesday evening meeting with Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal, Smt Sunita Kejriwal said: “Arvind ji told me one more thing – In the investigation of this so-called liquor scam, ED has conducted more than 250 raids in the last two years. They are searching for the money of this so-called liquor scam. Till now, they have not got a single penny in any of the raids. Raids were conducted at the houses of Manish ji, Sanjay Singh ji, Satyender Jain ji, not a penny was found. Only Rs 73000 were found in the raid at our place. So where is the money from this so-called liquor scam? Arvind ji has said that he will reveal this in front of the court on March 28, will tell the whole country the truth as to where the money of this so-called liquor scam is, and will also give proof of it.”
Conveying that the Delhi Chief Minister is concerned about public interest even under custody, Smt Sunita Kejriwal said two days ago Shri Arvind Kejriwal had sent a message to Delhi Water Minister Atishi ji that people’s water and sewer problems should be solved. “Tell me, did he do anything wrong? People’s problems must be solved. The central government has filed a case against your CM on this matter also. Do these people want to destroy Delhi? Do these people want people to continue struggling with their problems? Arvind ji is very pained by this,” she said.
Smt Sunita Kejriwal said even though Shri Arvind Kejriwal is in jail and not keeping good health, yet he is with the people of Delhi. “He has diabetes, sugar levels are not well. But the determination is strong… Arvind ji is a very true, patriotic, fearless, and courageous person. Pray for his long life, health, and success. He has said that my body is in jail, but my soul is with you all…,” she said.
