Senior AAP leader and MLA Shri Dilip Pandey sharply criticised the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for continuously targeting and conspiring against the most popular Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal.
Addressing media persons, Shri Dilip Pandey said they (BJP) are pushing hard to get Shri Arvind Kejriwal arrested by all means. They are using different constitutional agencies to do this. They are using the ED, the CBI and the Income Tax department as their faces. He stated, “We are repeatedly saying that the BJP is continuously misusing the constitutional bodies like the ED and the CBI for their own political agendas. This is one thing, but these constitutional bodies have also started working like political organizations.”
AAP chief whip Shri Dilip Pandey accused the ED and CBI for working as political organizations. He stated, “In politics, one party accuses the other, they play blame game, and the parties react on it. It happens quite often that you have to leak out the news to the media. The ED has also started working in the exact manner. The whole country has witnessed how the ED has worked like a clever political leader and it has also started planting news in the media. They are releasing baseless statements in the form of press release.”
Shri Dilip Pandey said that he is saying this with utmost responsibility that ED’s statement is absolutely baseless. The accusations of the ED against Shri Arvind Kejriwal of being involved in scam amounting to Rs100 crore is non-sensical as the Supreme Court has already dismissed it. Justice Sanjiv Khanna has already dismissed the accusations due to lack of evidence. The Supreme Court found the allegation of Rs 100 crore as somewhat debatable but there is no evidence. “The same claim which was dismissed by the Supreme Court has now been planted in the media by the ED and the BJP. India’s constitutional institutions are facing these days, the Enforcement Directorate is working on the directives of the BJP,” he said.
Addressing the BJP, the senior AAP leader stated, “I want to tell you (BJP) that even though you have fielded these ‘three star campaigners’ (ED, CBI and IT department) in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, it would not save you from public outrage. Your disgusting face has been exposed in front of the people and they will soon vote against you.”
