AAP’s National Convenor and Delhi’s CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal, addressed the ‘Badlaav Jan Sabha’ in Jind, Haryana, urging the public to decisively bring about a transformative shift in the state’s government. The AAP National Convenor mentioned that AAP unequivocally deserves the opportunity to govern, vowing to deliver an unwavering 24 hours of free electricity, from the proven successes in Delhi and Punjab.
By showcasing zero electricity bills from both states, Shri Arvind Kejriwal emphasized that only the AAP could deliver 24/7 and free electricity. The AAP National Convenor said that Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar is sending the state’s youth to Israel for jobs. He wholeheartedly pledged to generate jobs in Haryana, much like the 42,000 jobs created in Punjab in two years.
Shri Arvind Kejriwal emphasized the party’s unwavering vision to elevate the standards of education and healthcare, provide unbridled access to free electricity for the underprivileged, and eradicate corruption at its core. He revealed that these initiatives have provoked attempts to imprison him, and agencies are treating him as a terrorist, while he argued that the real threat is inflation propagated by those in power. The event also featured Punjab CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann addressing the public.
AAP’s National Convenor and Delhi’s CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal started his address with the slogans of ‘Bharat Mata ki jai’, ‘Inquilab Zindabad’ and ‘Vande Mataram’. “Today, the AAP has the biggest organizational strength in Haryana. Neither the BJP nor Congress nor the JJP have this big organization strength. In each village and ward, a committee of 15-20 individuals has been constituted. In Haryana, the AAP has 1.5 lakh office bearers, and this has happened only in 6 months. Today the people of Haryana are distressed from all the parties. In 75 years they have experienced all these parties, and all of them have done nothing except fill their home treasury. The next 7 generations of these parties won’t have to do anything to lead a comfortable life. Today, the common people believe in only one party i.e. the AAP,” he added.
The AAP National Convenor further stated that Haryana has Punjab and Delhi as its neighboring states. On both sides, they see how happy people are in these states with their governments. Now, the entire Haryana is asking for a big change. Delhiites have changed it already, they have swept aside the 2 big parties in Delhi and elected the AAP government. After that, the people of Punjab changed it and expected the AAP government to have an emphatic majority. Today the people of both the states, Delhi and Punjab are extremely pleased. Pointing towards a stack of 1 lakh electricity bills, he said, “As a proof of their happiness we have brought these electricity bills of 1 lakh individuals. If were lying then you’ll find out since you have your relatives in both states, so we are here with proof,” the AAP National Convenor stated.
He showed zero electricity bills to the people of Haryana, saying that everyone in Punjab and Delhi gets zero electricity bills, so why don’t the people of Haryana get them? People in Haryana can also have zero electricity bills. In Haryana, 24-hour electricity and zero bills can only be achieved by the Aam Aadmi Party, not Congress, BJP, or JJP. They promised zero electricity bills, but if they fulfil that promise, there won’t be any electricity. Unlike Haryana, Delhi and Punjab now have 24-hour electricity. I am an engineer, educated, and knowledgeable, and my degree is genuine. I can provide 24-hour electricity and zero bills. So, vote for the educated this time.
Shri Arvind Kejriwal mentioned, “During Punjab elections, many young people approached us about employment. Our government in Punjab has been in power for just 2 years, and in this time, CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann has provided government jobs to 42,000 youths. Our government didn’t suggest youth go to Israel, but Haryana CM Khattar Saheb is sending youth to Israel for labor. If they can’t provide jobs, leave the chair; we know how to give jobs. Don’t send our children to die in Israel. Israel is evacuating its people from there due to war, while Khattar Saheb is sending his people to die. Khattar Saheb should leave the chair, and those who can provide jobs should be given the opportunity. I appeal to the people of Haryana to remove those who can’t provide jobs from power and bring in those who can.”
The AAP’s National Convenor conveyed that the biggest threat to the BJP is the Aam Aadmi Party. That’s why these people are after me and the Aam Aadmi Party. Our only fault is that we want to improve the country’s education and healthcare system. That’s why they want to put us in jail. We want to provide free healthcare to the poor, offer 24/7 free electricity, and eliminate corruption. That’s why these people are behind us. If we start taking money like them and send them some money, they will say that Kejriwal is good, and our government will continue.
“Since I entered politics, they have been after us. Today, they have jailed most leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party. In 2015, our government was formed in Delhi, and we improved schools, hospitals, roads, electricity, and water. They don’t work because these are the tasks they cannot accomplish. When our work in Delhi gained nationwide attention, they decided to stop Kejriwal’s work. They brought a law in 2015 to stop my work, but I am educated. If they stop one task, I start another. Despite their multiple laws to stop my work and eliminate my power, I didn’t stop. Now they say put Kejriwal in jail,” he added.
Shri Arvind Kejriwal expressed that they have jailed Shri Manish Sisodia. Shri Manish Sisodia’s fault is that he dared to provide good education to the children of the poor. For the last 75 years, the poor children of this country have not been getting a good education. The poor were kept poor, and the rich kept getting richer. Shri Manish Sisodia dared to provide a good education to the children of the poor. Shri Satyendar Jain was also jailed because he tried to provide good medical treatment to everyone, whether poor or rich. Today, Delhi’s government hospitals are like 5-star facilities. People from all over the country come for treatment, and all treatment is free.
The AAP National Convenor further stated that they want to put all leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party in jail, but I am not afraid of jail. I am a son of Haryana; I have the blood of Haryana in me. I am not afraid of jail. Don’t try to scare the people of Haryana. These people want to finish Kejriwal. These people are targeting me, so I want to make an announcement. I have five demands, which are the demands of 140 crore people in this country. Fulfil these five demands, and I will quit politics. I didn’t come into politics for power and money; I didn’t come to become a minister or chief minister.
My demands on the behalf of the people of the country:
- Equal Education System for All
Shri Arvind Kejriwal affirmed, “Fix the country’s education system, arrange for equal education for everyone. Whether rich or poor, everyone should receive a good education. Implement a system of equal education throughout the country, and Kejriwal will quit politics.”
- Improve Government Hospitals and Provide Free and Quality Healthcare
“Ensure good healthcare for everyone across the country. Whether rich or poor, everyone should have access to quality healthcare, and medical treatment should be free for all, as demonstrated in Delhi. Open Mohalla Clinics in every village, and enhance all government hospitals. We have transformed government hospitals in Delhi, and we are doing the same in Punjab. Fix all hospitals in the country and provide free healthcare, and Kejriwal will quit politics,” he added.
- Reduce Inflation Across the Country
The AAP National Convenor said, “Today, inflation is so high in the country that people are finding it difficult to run their households. Many families earn only ₹6000 to ₹10,000 per month. They spend up to ₹3,000 on electricity bills, ₹2,000 on their children’s education, and additional expenses on gas cylinders. After these expenses, they have no money left. How will such families afford food? Reduce inflation across the country. Inflation can be reduced. We have demonstrated this in Delhi and Punjab. Many people have a misconception that inflation is increasing on its own. Inflation is not increasing on its own; a massive conspiracy is underway in this country.”
- Employment for Every Youth
“My fourth demand is to provide employment to every youth in the entire country. Kejriwal will quit politics if this is achieved,” he added.
- 24-Hour Free Electricity for All
Shri Arvind Kejriwal continued, “Arrange for 24-hour electricity for everyone in the country. Provide free electricity to the poor. This is possible. I have done all the calculations. In our country, we produce 4 lakh megawatts of electricity, and the demand for electricity in the entire country is only 2 lakh megawatts. Despite this, we face power cuts for 7-8 hours in our homes.”
The AAP National Convenor said that he entered politics not for money and power; he has no personal interests. These people won’t work, and those who work, are being caught and thrown into jail by them, the public won’t tolerate it. “If these five demands are fulfilled, I will quit politics; otherwise, the public will stand with anyone who demonstrates them. I am a staunch patriot and an honest person, and we are devotees of Lord Shri Ram and Hanuman Ji. We are running the governance of Delhi and Punjab based on the concept of ‘Ram Rajya’. We entered politics to serve the people. Today, they have exerted all their power to arrest me. All agencies, including income tax, CBI, and ED, are after me. It seems like Kejriwal is the biggest terrorist in this country. I am not a terrorist; these are the people who have created such inflation on all sides. Today, inflation is the biggest terrorist. The terror of inflation is looming in every household,” he stated.
Shri Arvind Kejriwal stated that electricity is expensive in the country because they have made ‘settings’ with electricity companies. These electricity companies are owned by their friends, and they have increased the rates without providing any improvements. Even in Delhi, electricity used to be expensive initially. After our government came into power, we made electricity free by reforming electricity companies. Petrol and diesel are expensive in the country because oil companies are their friends. They have arrangements with them. Education is costly in the country; private schools increase fees because they have arrangements with the education mafia. Medicines are expensive because they have arrangements with those who sell them. Toll booths are everywhere on the roads. But in Punjab, our government has shut down all toll booths because we don’t have arrangements with them. In every sector, these people have arrangements, so there is so much inflation in the country.
The AAP National Convenor said, “They are not sending us to jail because we have committed corruption. We are being sent to jail because we have stopped the corruption of electricity companies and made electricity free. We have shut down the education mafia and arranged free education for the children of the poor. We have arranged free treatment in government hospitals for every family. We haven’t committed corruption; these people have. Wherever they are in power, electricity, education, and medicines are expensive. Recently, a report from the central government stated that the lowest inflation in the entire country is in Delhi and Punjab. Both states have an Aam Aadmi Party government.”
“For the Lok Sabha elections, an INDIA Alliance has been formed. Whatever agreement is reached in the INDIA Alliance, we will contest elections accordingly. However, the Aam Aadmi Party will contest the Haryana Assembly election alone. We will contest all 90 seats. In the Haryana Assembly elections, we will fight to form a government with a full majority. My appeal is to give a massive victory to the Aam Aadmi Party in the elections and also form our government in Haryana. Together with the people of Haryana, we will improve the state and make it the number one state in the country,” he added.
If you want a politics of development, then give Shri Arvind Kejriwal a chance – Sardar Bhagwant Mann
Speaking at a public meeting in Jind, Haryana, Punjab CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann stated that in the 2015 Delhi Assembly elections, the Aam Aadmi Party won 67 out of 70 seats. In the 2020 elections, Shri Arvind Kejriwal became the CM of Delhi for the third time with 63 out of 70 seats. If the people of Haryana want a politics of development, they should give a chance to Shri Arvind Kejriwal. Otherwise, politics based on caste, religion, and hatred have been happening for 70 years. The impact of the work done by Shri Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi reached Punjab, where AAP won 92 out of 117 seats in March 2022. They have successfully tackled corruption, and now 90% of people in Punjab receive zero electricity bills. Areas like Tohana, Fatehabad, Ambala, and Dabwali in Haryana are adjacent to Punjab, and places like Rohtak, Jhajjar, Rohtak, and Bhiwani are close to Delhi. People in these areas can ask those in Delhi and Punjab about their electricity bills.
“Both places have AAP governments, and the public has also cleaned up with the ‘Jhadu’. Don’t expect these parties to waive your electricity bills. Shri Arvind Kejriwal first demonstrated this in Delhi, and then we adopted it in Punjab. If the people of Haryana also want these facilities, they need to choose Shri Arvind Kejriwal. If you want a politics of religion, caste, and hatred, then there are parties for that, which have been looting for the past 70 years. They filled their relatives’ homes, and the public remained unemployed,” he added.
A crore people have received treatment in Punjab’s Mohalla Clinics – Sardar Bhagwant Mann
Punjab CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann mentioned that their government has been in power in Punjab for only 20 months, and he stands before the people after providing 42,000 government jobs. Now, recommendations do not work to get a job in Punjab. In the Punjab elections, out of our 92 MLAs, 80 have become MLAs for the first time. We are people connected to the ground. We fear neither heights nor depths; we only fear God. The pen that makes decisions in favor of the people should lean towards the people. Today, there are 664 Mohalla Clinics (Aam Aadmi Clinics) in Punjab, and 125 Mohalla clinics are ready to open next week. So far, a crore people have received treatment from these Mohalla Clinics. This means that every third person in Punjab has benefited from these clinics.
The Punjab CM stated, “Generally, governments come and, by showing government departments in loss, sell them to their friends. But recently, the Punjab government has also purchased a private thermal power plant. We announced this on January 1. The Punjab government has bought the private thermal power plant in Goindwal Sahib, and now we will run it at a profit. There should be a clear intention to do something. When the Aam Aadmi Party transformed hospitals and provided free treatment to everyone in Delhi, they arrested Shri Satyendar Jain and put him in jail. Similarly, when good and free education started reaching all children in Delhi, and their profits decreased, they incarcerated Shri Manish Sisodia. Our fearless leader, Shri Sanjay Singh, who speaks boldly against the BJP in Parliament, was also put in jail. Now, these people, troubled by Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s popularity, are sending notices by the ED to him. But attempting to scare us is futile; we are not afraid. We are patriotic people; we love our country.”
CM Sardar Bhagwant Mann shared that Haryana is the younger brother of Punjab, sharing a border with Pakistan. Our Agniveer stands at the border for its defense. Whenever a bullet comes towards the country, it first pierces our chests. Who are these people distributing certificates of patriotism to us? Now is the time for the people of Haryana to pick up the ‘Jhadu’. Today is the birth anniversary of Lala Lajpat Rai, and he, along with Shaheed Bhagat Singh, sacrificed so much for us. You just need to press the button for the ‘jhadu’ in the elections. Let the BJP folks hear it; so far, they have only extracted screams from the public.
