Education Minister Atishi conducted a surprise inspection at Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Saraswati Vihar. During the inspection, the Education Minister found that the school was being run smoothly. The school was paying good attention to cleanliness, and the timetable was being followed effectively with discipline. Teachers were present in all classes.
In the school, new innovative methods are being adopted for teaching and learning. Impressed by the positive environment in the school, Education Minister Atishi praised the school principal and teachers, stating that the smooth operation of the school during surprise inspections is evidence that discipline and cleanliness are an integral part of their routine. This is a result of the education revolution by the Kejriwal government, as our schools have set a very high minimum benchmark for themselves.
During the inspection, the Education Minister visited various sections of the school. Proper attention was given to cleanliness everywhere in the school, whether it be the washrooms, corridors, grounds, or classrooms. Discipline was also being maintained in the school in an exemplary manner.
Education Minister visited the computer lab, discussed studies with students, and inspected the library too. The Minister recommended adding more children-centric books to the library to the principal.
Maths Park in the school aiding children’s learning, while the Kitchen Garden fostering good habits related to food and nature
During the inspection, the Education Minister found that a maths park has been set up in the school to develop a practical understanding of mathematics among children. Through various working models, students are finding it very easy to learn difficult concepts in mathematics.
Additionally, a kitchen garden has been prepared in the school. Through this, children are developing good habits related to food by connecting with nature.
During the visit, the Education Minister found some students practicing pipe bands and approached these students. They showcased their artistic skills by playing various tunes for the Education Minister.

She highlighted the remarkable changes brought about by the education revolution led by the Kejriwal government in the past 8 years.
