The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is completely in support of women wrestlers who are protesting at Jantar Mantar against WFI President & BJP MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. The wrestlers have come out in protest against the BJP MP for his unpardonable wrongs and crimes against women & minors. The MP committed these crimes by abusing his position and leveraging his power against the athletes.
The AAP has now extended a helping hand to the wrestlers amidst heavy unseasonal rains in Delhi. The party will be providing the wrestlers with cots as a measure to protect them from the rain.
AAP Senior Leader and MLA Shri Somnath Bharti said, “Since today it has rained and the wrestlers need further help, on the instructions of CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal we have decided to send foldable cots to the protest site. We hope that this small help will make this tough time a little bit easier for the wrestlers.”
Shri Somnath Bharti will be reaching at about 10 PM at Jantar Mantar with the cots. He will hand over the cots to the wrestlers and also enquire if the wrestlers require any further support.
