Senior Aam Aadmi Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Sanjay Singh took a swipe at the BJP over its brazen corruption, on Tuesday. Shri Sanjay Singh said that PM Modi is behind the Adani Scam, & if it is investigated his reality will be exposed. He expressed his shock at how Adani managed to bet Krishnapatnam port, Airports, Ambuja-ACC after CBI-ED raids. BJP and Sambit Patra should answer why a scam of 42,000 is not being investigated by Central Government?,” he asked calling for an investigation into the matter.
Shri Sanjay Singh further alleged that the electricity projects in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh were given to Adani, but in reality, they went to Shri Narendra Modi.
“The Chairman of the Electricity Board, who testified in front of the Standing Committee of Sri Lanka, claimed that the project was given to Adani because President Gotabaya Rajapaksa was being pressured by Narendra Modi to do so,” he said.
Furthermore, regulations were changed to grant Adani the responsibility for Bangladesh’s six airports, making Adani occupy 30% of the business across all of the nation’s airports, which is effectively under the control of Shri Narendra Modi, according to the Rajya Sabha MP.
He also alleged that the country’s Prime Minister initiated a pattern of seizing assets by force. “Adani obtained the Krishnapatnam sea port after it was raided by CBI and ED. The GVK Group was raided and consequently, the airport was given to Adani. When ACC was raided by CCI, Adani acquired ACC Cements,” he said.
Shri Sanjay Singh claimed that all this business and property is not just being given to Adani, but by using CBI and ED, Shri Narendra Modi is acquiring all this business and property in his own name. “His intention is to make himself the world’s number one rich. Adani’s wealth fell after the Hindenberg report scandal, but Shri Narendra Modi’s rise grows unhindered because all this scam money is actually his money,” Shri Singh said.
He alleged, “This is why Narendra Modi is unwaveringly supporting Adani in the midst of the Adani scam, irrespective of his government’s political interests, and despite the opposition parties’ protests falling on deaf ears. They are aware that if an investigation is conducted by the JPC, ED, and CBI, the Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi, will also be implicated in it.”
Furthermore, Shri Singh alleged that coal worth approximately 1 lakh crore was given to Adani, but in fact, it was given to the Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. “Every year, Adani is receiving coal worth Rs. 2800 crore as a gift, and this will continue for around 30 years,” he said.
“Why are you giving a bank loan of Rs 2.5 lakh crores to Adani? Why is Modi waiving Adani’s bank loan of Rs 86,000 crore? Because, in turn, all the benefits and money will go to Shri Narendra Modi,” Shri Singh added.
The senior AAP leader questioned the BJP, “Why has a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) investigation not been initiated yet, despite several big scams coming to light?” He said that it is important to note that Adani’s associates received 42,000 crores in black money from Mauritius through the use of a single address for six different companies. “This black money, which belongs to Modi, has been invested in his factories and associates. The JPC investigation has not been initiated because the leader of the BJP and the Prime Minister of the country Shri Narendra Modi will be directly implicated in it,” he said.
In conclusion, Shri Sanjay Singh called on the BJP to answer these questions and for a thorough investigation by the JPC, ED, and CBI to take place. “The people of the country deserve answers,” he said.
