NEW DELHI:
The Delhi Government under the leadership of CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal announced a special campaign against open burning to curb pollution in the national capital. Environment Minister Shri Gopal Rai directed department officials to run ‘Anti Open Burning Special Campaign’ for the next 10 days in view of increasing pollution in Delhi. For this, 611 teams of DPCC, MCD, Revenue, I&FC and other departments will take action on the ground. The Environment Minister further appealed to all the agencies and RWAs of Delhi to provide heaters to the employees and guards posted on night duty.
Shri Gopal Rai said, “to stop the incidents of open burning in Delhi, the government has started a special ‘Anti Open Burning Campaign’. A total of 611 teams have been assigned the responsibility for this. These teams will work together day and night. Staying at ground zero, all the teams will ensure that there is no open burning anywhere in Delhi and if incidents of burning are found, action will be taken by the teams against the concerned people. Special responsibility has been given to DPCC, MCD, Revenue and Irrigation and Flood Control Department for this campaign.”
Shri Gopal Rai further said that these 611 teams will monitor it day and night. Teams will patrol continuously even at night to control incidents of garbage burning. He said that the Delhi Government has succeeded in reducing pollution with the cooperation of the people and the government is running several campaigns to reduce pollution.
Shri Gopal Rai also appealed to all the agencies and RWAs of Delhi to provide heaters to the employees and guards on night duty so that they do not do open burning.
The Environment Minister appeals to all the residents to register a complaint on ‘Green Delhi’ application in case of any incident of open burning so that the incident of open burning reaches the department in the least possible time and the department can take action against them.

दिल्ली के पर्यावरण मंत्री श्री गोपाल राय ने आज दिल्ली में वायु प्रदूषण को नियंत्रित करने के लिए आगामी 10 दिनों तक ‘एन्टी ओपन बर्निंग स्पेशल कैम्पेन’ चलाने के लिए अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिया है। इसके लिए DPCC, MCD, Revenue, I&FC एवं अन्य विभागों की 611 टीमें फील्ड में करेंगी कार्रवाई। उन्होंने दिल्ली के सभी एजेंसियों एवं RWAs से नाईट ड्यूटी पर तैनात कर्मचारियों एवं गार्डों को हीटर उपलब्ध कराने की अपील की है।
श्री राय ने कहा कि दिल्ली में खुले में जलने की घटनाओं को रोकने के लिए सरकार द्वारा स्पेशल ‘एंटी ओपन बर्निंग कैंपेन’ शुरू। इसके लिए कुल 611 टीमों को जिम्मेदारी सौंपी गई है। ये टीमें दिन और रात मिलकर काम करेंगी ग्राउंड जीरो पर रहकर सभी टीमें यह सुनिश्चित करेंगे कि दिल्ली में कहीं भी खुले में बर्निंग नहीं हो रही हो और बर्निंग की घटनाएं पाए जाने पर टीमों द्वारा संबंधित लोगों पर कार्रवाई की जाएगी।
इस अभियान के लिए डीपीसीसी, एम.सी.डी, राजस्व एवं इरीगेशन और फ्लड कंट्रोल विभाग को विशेष जिम्मेदारी दी गयी है। गोपाल राय ने आगे कहा कि यह 611 टीमें दिन रात इसकी मॉनिटरिंग करेगी। कूड़ा जलने की घटनाओं को नियंत्रित करने के लिए टीमें रात में भी लगातार गश्त करेंगी।” उन्होंने कहा कि दिल्ली सरकार ने लोगों के सहयोग से प्रदूषण को कम करने में सफलता पायी है। सरकार प्रदूषण को कम करने के लिए कई अभियान चला रही है।
श्री गोपाल राय ने दिल्ली के सभी एजेंसियों एवं RWAs से नाईट ड्यूटी पर तैनात कर्मचारियों एवं गार्डों को हीटर उपलब्ध कराने की अपील की है। ताकि वो ओपन बर्निंग न करें।
दिल्ली के पर्यावरण मंत्री ने सभी निवासियों से अपील की कि वे खुले में जलने की किसी भी घटना के मामले में ‘ग्रीन दिल्ली’ एप्लिकेशन पर शिकायत दर्ज करें जिससे कम से कम समय में खुले में आग जलने की घटना विभाग तक पहुंचे और विभाग उन पर तुरंत कार्रवाई कर सकें आगे पर्यावरण मंत्री श्री राय ने बताया कि पर्यावरण हमारे सांसों से जुड़ा मामला है जिसको लेकर के सरकार सक्रिय रूप से काम कर रही है।
