Delhi Vidhan Sabha’s Committee on MCD will visit the country’s cleanest cities soon and chart out a plan for MCD to make Delhi garbage free and clean. The committee on MCD chaired by MLA Shri Saurabh Bhardwaj will undertake on-ground studies in various cities from next Monday and meet with local officials to understand garbage management. Shri Saurabh Bhardwaj stated, “The aim of this committee is to learn the best practices from throughout the country and the world and to implement them in Delhi to improve sanitation within the city. From next Monday, committee members & MCD officials will go on field visits to study solid waste management, segregation and sanitation models of various cities. A report will be prepared after these visits to enlist best practises that can be adopted by the MCD.”
A key meeting of Delhi Vidhan Sabha’s Committee on Municipal Corporation in Delhi was held on Wednesday. The committee looks into the responsibilities & functioning of the MCD and its meeting was held under the chairmanship of Shri Saurabh Bharadwaj, and attended by members Shri Kuldeep Kumar, Shri Akhileshpati Tripathi, Shri Sanjeev Jha, Shri Shiv Charan Goel, Ms Atishi and Shri Ajesh Yadav. Senior officers of the MCD were also present in this meeting. It was decided in the meeting that the members of this committee will undertake an on-ground study as part of which they will visit other cities in the country that have been successful in running their local civic bodies. The aim of the committee is to improve the level of sanitation, solid waste management and to clear out the landfills that exist in the city through the MCD. During the meeting Shri Saurabh Bhardwaj tabled a plan for undertaking field visits from next Monday onwards. The members will visit those cities where there has been commendable work in the areas of sanitation and waste management, segregation of waste, recycling of waste, successful implementation of solid waste management, etc. The field visit team will also meet senior officials of the civic body of these cities and take lessons in waste management. The best practices in the field of waste management in these cities will be looked into and it will be analysed by this committee as to how these can be implemented within the MCD to improve sanitation in Delhi. All the members welcomed the plan and then unanimously approved the commencement of the field visit from next Monday onwards.
Talking about the initiative, Shri Saurabh Bhardwaj said, “It is the beginning of a new phase in the MCD after the unification of the corporation and with a new government is now in-charge of it, and the aim of this committee of the Delhi Vidhan Sabha is to bring in the best practises from throughout the country and the world and to implement it in Delhi to improve sanitation within the city. From the next Monday onwards, the group which will consist of members of the committee and some senior officials of the MCD will undertake their field visit in the select cities of the country and will understand the best practises in the various cities and will interact with the senior officials who are responsible for the best practises in the local civic bodies.”
He added, “Eventually this group will prepare a report after the field visit and present it to the Vidhan Sabha committee and to decide which of these steps are necessary for the MCD to follow.”

दिल्ली को साफ-सुथरा और स्वच्छ बनाने की कवायद तेज हो गई है। इस संबंध में दिल्ली नगर निगम के कार्यों के लिए गठित दिल्ली विधानसभा की समिति के अध्यक्ष सौरभ भारद्वाज ने आज दिल्ली विधानसभा में बैठक कर एमसीडी के विभिन्न मुद्दों पर चर्चा की। दिल्ली विधानसभा की समिति ने सर्व सम्मति से निर्णय लिया कि देश के विभिन्न बेहतर साफ शहरों का दौरा कर दिल्ली को कूड़ा मुक्त बनाने का एमसीडी को प्लान दिया जाएगा। समिति के अध्यक्ष सौरभ भारद्वाज ने बताया कि दिल्ली नगर निगम के लिए गठित दिल्ली विधानसभा की समिति देश के दूसरे शहरों का भ्रमण कर वहां के नगर निगमों में हुए अच्छे कामों को सीखेगी और उसको एमसीडी में भी लागू कराएंगे। आगामी सोमवार से समिति के सदस्य एमसीडी के सैनिटेशन विभाग के अधिकारियों के साथ चुनिंदा शहरों का भ्रमण करेंगे और नगर निगमों में हुए अच्छे कामों पर रिपोर्ट बनाएंगे। यह समिति अपनी देखरेख में ऐसे अच्छे काम एमसीडी को बताएगी, जिससे दिल्ली को साफ-सुथरा और सुंदर बनाया जा सके।
दिल्ली नगर निगम के कार्यों के लिए गठित दिल्ली विधानसभा की समिति की आज एक महत्वपूर्ण बैठक हुई। दिल्ली विधानसभा में आयोजित इस बैठक की अध्यक्षता समिति के अध्यक्ष सौरभ भारद्वाज ने की। बैठक में समिति के सदस्य विधायक अजेश यादव, अखिलेश पति त्रिपाठी, आतिशी, दिनेश मोहनिया, कुलदीप कुमार, संजीव झा, शिवचरण गोयल और सोमदत्त मौजूद थे। इसके अलावा, बैठक में दिल्ली नगर निगम के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों ने भी हिस्सा लिया। बैठक में दिल्ली नगर निगम से संबंधित विभिन्न मुद्दों पर गंभीरतापूर्वक विचार विमर्श किया गया। समिति ने सर्वसम्मति से यह फैसला लिया कि वो देश के अलग-अलग शहरों में जाएगी, जिन शहरों में साफ-सफाई, सैनिटेशन, कूड़े के ढेर के रखरखाव, कूड़े के ढलाव के रखरखाव, सॉलि़ड वेस्ट मैनेजमेंट और लैंडफिल साइट को लेकर अच्छे काम हुए हैं। देश के जिन शहरों में इन क्षेत्र में अच्छे काम हुए हैं एल, वहां पर समिति दिल्ली नगर निगम के सैनिटेशन विभाग के कुछ अधिकारियों के साथ भ्रमण करेगी और उन शहरों में जो अच्छी चीजें हुई हैं, उनको सीखेगी- समझेगी और समिति यह कोशिश करेगी कि उसका अनुसरण दिल्ली नगर निगम में किया जाए।
दिल्ली विधानसभा की दिल्ली नगर निगम की समिति, एमसीडी को लगातार मदद करेगी कि दिल्ली को साफ-सुथरा बनाने, स्वच्छ बनाने, कूड़े की व्यवस्था बेहतर बनाने, सॉलिड वेस्ट मैनेजमेंट के लिए, कूड़े के पृथककरण के लिए और तीनों कूड़े के पहाड़ों को जल्द से जल्द कम करने पर काम किया जाए। दिल्ली विधानसभा की समिति ने फैसला किया कि एक यूनिफाइड नगर निगम की शुरुआत दिल्ली में हो शुरू हो रही है और दिल्ली नगर निगम में एक नई सरकार बनने जा रही है। इस मौके पर दिल्ली विधानसभा और खासकर दिल्ली विधानसभा में गठित दिल्ली नगर निगम की समिति अपनी देखरेख में ऐसे काम एमसीडी को बताएगी, जिससे दिल्ली को साफ और सुंदर किया जा सके। विधानसभा की समिति भारत और दुनिया के दूसरों शहरों के नगर निगमों में जो भी अच्छे काम हुए हैं, उनको सीखकर दिल्ली नगर निगम के अंदर भी उसको कराने की कोशिश करेगी।
दिल्ली विधानसभा की नगर निगम की समिति के अध्यक्ष सौरभ भारद्वाज ने समिति के सदस्यों को बताया कि आगामी सोमवार से समिति के सभी सदस्य और नगर निगम के अधिकारी भारत के चुनिंदा शहरों का भ्रमण करेंगे और वहां के नगर निगम के अधिकारियों के साथ मीटिंग करेंगे। उन्होंने जो अच्छे काम किए हैं, उस पर समिति एक रिपोर्ट बनाएगी कि कौन से ऐसे काम हैं, जो दिल्ली नगर निगम में भी किए जा सकते हैं। उन कामों के बारे में सीखेंगे और दिल्ली नगर निगम में भी उन कामों को करवाने की कोशिश करेंगे। समिति के सभी सदस्यों ने समिति के अध्यक्ष सौरभ भारद्वाज की इस पहल का स्वागत किया और सबने सर्वसम्मति से प्रस्ताव पास किया कि अगले हफ्ते समिति भारत के चुनिंदा शहरों में जाकर बेहतर कूड़े और साफ-सफाई के प्रबंधन के लिए की गई अच्छी चीजें सीखकर दिल्ली नगर निगम को भी सिखाएगी।
