India’s most successful political start-up met another milestone on Thursday. The Aam Aadmi Party attained status of a ‘National Party’ with its impressive performance in the Gujarat assembly elections, where the party not only won a hoard of seats but also a huge vote share with over 40 lac votes being polled in its favour. Having achieved such a humongous feat in barely ten years, the Aam Aadmi Party called for celebrations at its headquarters in Delhi. Party workers and volunteers thronged the AAP office to congratulate each other. Senior AAP leaders like Rajya Sabha MP Shri Sanjay Singh, Delhi Convenor Shri Gopal Rai and National Secretary Shri Pankaj Gupta addressed the workers on the occasion to thank and congratulate them. Shri Sanjay Singh said, “Thanks to the miraculous leadership of CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal, Aam Aadmi Party became a national party in just 10 years. Aam Aadmi Party is no longer limited to Delhi and Punjab, but has become the national party of India. Gujarat is called the fortress of PM Modi and Amit Shah, Shri Arvind Kejriwal has breached their fortress today. Ten years ago AAP was formed, till now the people of Delhi formed our government thrice in Delhi and now we have our government in Punjab also.” Shri Gopal Rai said, “With people of Gujarat ensuring locking-in of the Jhaadu symbol for the Aam Aadmi Party, time has come to wield the broom throughout the nation.” While, Shri Pankaj Gupta said, “By making AAP a national party, the people of Gujarat have given a message that the education-health, electricity-water model given by CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal has to be spread across the country.”
Senior AAP Leader and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Sanjay Singh said, “Congratulations to every member of the Aam Aadmi Party that we have attained the status of a National Party within a span of merely 10 years under the leadership of Shri Arvind Kejriwal. We are thankful to the people of the country, especially the people of Gujarat who showered their blessings upon us in the form of their votes. AAP has secured around 35 lakh votes in Gujarat so far. People can view this result from different point of view. Each of our worker and our organisation has worked tirelessly in Gujarat. We contested the elections valiantly under the leadership of Shri Arvind Kejriwal. We went from village-to-village for our campaign but we should not forget that Gujarat is BJP’s laboratory, Fort of Narendra Modi and Amit Shah for 27 years. Only Shri Arvind Kejriwal and AAP could breach that fortress.”
He added, “I understand that no Party contests in an election to lose. However, it is the efforts of our workers and support of people of Gujarat that we are now a National Party. This has rejuvenated our workers across the country. Today is your day to celebrate. When we formed our party 10 years ago, people used to question us if we’re going to win 2-5 seats or 1-2% votes. To everyone’s surprise, people of Delhi brought us to power not once or twice but thrice. Then we ventured into Punjab. First time, we won 20 seats and in the next elections, we formed a government with a thumping majority. Then we went to a distant state of Goa and opened our account by winning 2 seats. Now, when we contested elections in Gujarat, people there made us a National Party.”
He continued, “We have received blessings and support of the people in the form of votes because of the massive development work done by Shri Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi. We started providing free electricity in Punjab from July 1st, 2023 and now 63 lakh households get zero electricity bills. MCD was BJP’s fort for 15 long years and the election results were announced yesterday. Shri Arvind Kejriwal destroyed that fort completely. AAP will be in power in both Delhi Government and MCD. We will serve the people of Delhi in the best way possible. Various reporters were saying that we were making big claims. As far as big claims are concerned, Home Minister Amit Shah challenged me in the Parliament that we will have a tussle in MCD elections. The contest is over and people of Delhi gave their verdict in our favour. He also made a claim of winning Delhi assembly elections in 2020 and was proved wrong. His claim of winning in West Bengal, Maharashtra and Bihar were also proved wrong. Since 2018, he has made 11 such claims which have proved wrong. Prime Minister Narendra Modi could only win 3 seats in West Bengal in 2016. Recently, they contested elections on all the 173 seats in Andhra Pradesh. The Prime Minister himself held several rallies but they could save deposits in even a single seat. They could only secure 0.8% votes. In hindsight, results for AAP in Gujarat are a big feat when you compare BJP’s performance in other states.”
Shri Sanjay Singh concluded, “Earlier, our workers used to visit places with Topi and people were not very friendly. But when people make up their mind, they ensured that we do not remain restricted to Delhi, Punjab or Goa. As a result, we are a National Party now. We have to expand the party across the entire country and develop a stronghold in every state. We will march ahead with our pledge of delivering welfare to every individual of the country. We accept the mandate of the people with open hearts. BJP won in Gujarat, Congress won in Himachal Pradesh and AAP won in MCD. Today, BJP lost by-elections in Uttar Pradesh to SP. People have made it clear that BJP does not command the same authority in other parts of the country like they hold in Gujarat. There is a wind of change in the country.”
Delhi State Convenor and Cabinet Minister Shri Gopal Rai said, “First of all I would like to congratulate the people of Delhi, who gave birth to the Aam Aadmi Party. Then I would like to congratulate the people of Punjab who took this party forward by giving them massive support in their state. Then I would like to thank the people of Goa who provided their love and support to the party and took us closer to the status of a national party. Also, finally I would like to congratulate the people of Gujarat who today despite being pressured by other political parties to not vote for us, gave us their love and support. As many as 35 lakh people across the state supported us and due to this today we have become a National Party. The fact that it is the people of Gujarat who made us a National Party, this is not a small matter. This is an important factor to consider. I am familiar with the people of this state. To vote against the ruling party is a massive risk that each person here has taken. It is a risk to your business, it is a risk for your life. Therefore this result for AAP is not a small one, and therefore I would like to congratulate the people of Gujarat. You have opened a window this time around, the next time the door for AAP in Gujarat will also be opened.”
He said, “Do remember about that time when we all were on a protest against corruption here in Delhi under the leadership of Shri Anna Hazare. Our protest had begun at Jantar Mantar and we gradually moved to the Ramlila Maidan. The ruling Congress party at the time promised that they would bring the Jan Lokpal Bill. They eventually failed on their promise and we were challenged into getting into politics. The ruling Congress at the time said that if you are serious about bringing changes in this country, fight an election and come to power. When we finally decided to take the political plunge, it was unimaginable to think that this is where we would be 10 years later. We did not have funds or any major political sponsors, we also did not believe in the ideology of caste and religion-based politics. Many people told us that there are already so many other political parties, what would change by forming another political party? But we still decided to form the party and hit the streets of Delhi. Currently, we have just won for the first time in the MCD elections. But after forming the party a decade ago, when we went out on the streets and met the people for the first time, we did not know what a polling booth was, we did not know what a ward was and how they were distributed across Delhi. We were all party workers who were experiencing the high of the protest that we had just done in Delhi, but preparing ourselves for the election was a new challenge. But we went to every street that we could and we spoke to the people about the need for change. Shri Arvind Kejriwal himself went in the streets of Delhi and engaged volunteers to take this party forward. In the early days of the party it was difficult to find support from the people and get them to believe in our vision. But from such a position, we went on to form the government in Delhi not only once but twice. We went on to form the government in Punjab, our party leaders entered the Vidhan Sabha in Goa and now we have gone on to end the 15-year mis-governance of the BJP in the MCD. Earlier our political opponents told us that we were only capable of defeating Congress and that we could not defeat the BJP. Today, we have proved them wrong and more importantly we have shown to the people of the country that when you decide to stand up against the wrongs of both the Congress and the BJP, then there is no one who can stop you. This ‘jhaadu’ has the power to stop the dirty politics of both the Congress and the BJP.”
He added, “Today, the whole country lends its support and love to Shri Arvind Kejriwal because it believes in his vision of developmental politics. In Delhi, we had to start from zero, we won no seats in the first election that we fought. But in Gujarat, we are not beginning from zero. Therefore, I say that in Gujarat we have already broken the window and in the coming years we will break the door down. I would also like to point out to everyone present here that there is no part of the country at this time where there is no volunteer of AAP. Our volunteers are spread all across the country. You could go far south to Tamil Nadu and you will find an AAP volunteer there or you could go to Kashmir and find a volunteer there as well. The same would be the case if you go far east or if you go west to Gujarat, where the window for AAP has opened up after these results. One aspect of this latest result that will from now on benefit every AAP volunteer is that you will no longer need to fight to get the election symbol. This is the advantage of becoming a National Party. Until now, we were a recognized political party in Delhi, Punjab and Goa. When we wanted to fight an election in other states such as Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Jharkhand and so on, our volunteers had to face some difficulty in getting the candidate to fight under the symbol of ‘jhaadu’. But from now on, you will not face any difficulty in fighting the election under the symbol of AAP from any part of this country. The people of Gujarat have provided us with this gift of giving us the recognition of a National Party. The people of Gujarat have cleared the street for us to use our ‘jhaadu’ and clean the state government in every part of this country.”
Shri Gopal Rai said, “I would like to use this opportunity to tell all the post holders of AAP, whether they are state chiefs or district chiefs, to use this opportunity to bring in fresh energy into the party. The BJP could have won Gujarat, but it lost the Himachal Pradesh elections as well as the MCD elections. In political language, this is an indication that “the winds are constantly changing”. At this time, the economic condition of the country is not in good shape: inflation is at a high, unemployment is at record level, the health and educational facilities across the country are not in good shape. The entire country is asking for a change, and the people of Gujarat have voted strongly for AAP and shown the country that after becoming a national party, AAP can be the change that the country is looking for. Therefore I would like to again tell all our volunteers across the country that the voters in Delhi, Punjab, Goa and Gujarat have given us immense support and made us a national party and now it is the volunteers in every other state that have to follow this example and create new organisational structures at their booths and districts.”
He concluded, “I would also use this opportunity to thank Shri Arvind Kejriwal for forming this party that has become a nightmare for other political parties in the country. He has worked immensely hard to get this party to achieve what all it has in the due course of time. The BJP managed to schedule the Gujarat state elections and the MCD elections within the same week, hoping to split up the resources of the Aam Aadmi Party. But Shri Arvind Kejriwal fought and fought hard. There were so many days in the last few weeks when he was in Gujarat in the morning and in Delhi in the evening to be among the people on the streets.”
AAP National Secretary Shri Pankaj Gupta said, “I have been associated with this party since its inception on November 26, 2012 and just a couple of weeks ago we completed a decade in politics. Today the people of Gujarat with their love have given this party the status of a National Party. From the time of its formation, AAP has gone on to change the politics of the country. This was a country where we still lacked some basic facilities such as good quality schools and hospitals, the poorest of our citizens did not have electricity and water connections. But now the development model that was adopted by Delhi is being taken to other parts of the country. Becoming a National Party is only a small step that we have taken. The key challenge now is to take this successful model of ours to the rest of the country. I am confident that in the coming days we will successfully be able to achieve our aim of having a country that has educated and healthy people and where each citizen is provided with all the basic facilities.”
After getting national status Aam Aadmi Party will get many advantages:
- Aam Aadmi Party’s election symbol/party symbol Jhaadu (broom) will become a permanent symbol. Now AAP will have a single election symbol in the whole country. This broom symbol will be reserved for AAP across India.
- The candidates of Aam Aadmi Party will now appear on the top of the ballot/EVM (according to the alphabetical order)
- Aam Aadmi Party will be able to get an office in the capital of the country
- Till now the Aam Aadmi Party had to spend some money to get the voter lists, but now the Aam Aadmi Party will have the right to get the voter list in every state for free.
- At the national level, now the Aam Aadmi Party can include as many as 40 star campaigners instead of the usual 20.
- After getting the national status, the Aam Aadmi Party will now get time on radio and television to address the common public in the national level elections.
- The president/chair of a party with national status is eligible to get government accommodation.
- Now only one proposer will be required in the nomination papers of candidates.

राज्यसभा सदस्य संजय सिंह ने कहा कि 10 साल पहले जब हमने आम आदमी पार्टी का गठन किया, तब लोग कहते थे कि यह कितनी सीटें जीतेंगे? लेकिन दिल्ली की जनता एक बार नहीं तीन-तीन बार आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार बनाई। पंजाब में पहली बार हमारी 20 सीट आई और दूसरे चुनाव में प्रचंड बहुमत के साथ आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार बनी। गोवा जैसे सुदूर राज्य में आम आदमी पार्टी को 2 सीटें मिली और गुजरात जो भारतीय जनता पार्टी का गढ़ कहा जाता है, वहां की जनता ने आम आदमी पार्टी को राष्ट्रीय पार्टी बना दिया। पूरे देश में लोगों का इतना प्यार हमें इसलिए मिल रहा है, क्योंकि दिल्ली में अरविंद केजरीवाल जी ने काम करके दिखाया है। पंजाब में हमारी सरकार ने 1 जुलाई से बिजली फ्री कर दी है और पंजाब के 63 लाख परिवारों का जीरो बिजली का बिल आ रहा है। एमसीडी में भाजपा 15 साल से सत्ता में बैठी थी और एमसीडी भाजपा का मजबूत किला माना जाता था। कल एमसीडी चुनाव परिणाम आया तो अरविंद केजरीवाल जी ने भाजपा के इस किले को ध्वस्त करने का काम किया। अब दिल्ली और एमसीडी दोनों जगह आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार होगी और अच्छे से दिल्ली के लोगों के लिए काम किया जाएगा।
भाजपा भले ही अपने गढ़ गुजरात में जीत गई, लेकिन बाकी चुनाव परिणाम से साफ है कि अब देश में हवा बदल रही है- संजय सिंह
उन्होंने कहा कि 6 महीना पहले देश के गृहमंत्री जी ने मुझे चुनौती दी थी कि एमसीडी चुनाव में आना, दो-दो हाथ कर लेंगे। अब दो-दो हाथ हो गया है और दिल्ली की जनता ने फैसला भी सुना दिया है। देश के गृहमंत्री जी ने 2020 में भी दिल्ली को जीतने का दावा किया था और उनका दावा गलत साबित हुआ। बंगाल में भी चुनाव जीतने का दावा किया था, वह भी गलत हुआ। महाराष्ट्र में भी दावा गलत हुआ, बिहार में भी गलत साबित हुए। 2018 से अब तक भारत के गृहमंत्री जी ने 11 चुनाव में जो- जो दावे किए, सारे दावे गलत साबित हुए। भारत के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी जी 2016 में बंगाल का चुनाव लड़े और 3 सीट आई। अभी आंध्र प्रदेश के चुनाव में 173 सीटों पर भाजपा की जमानत जप्त हो गई, जबकि प्रधानमंत्री जी कई रैली किए। भाजपा को एक प्रतिशत से भी कम वोट मिला। अगर भाजपा के दूसरे राज्यों के चुनाव परिणाम की दृष्टि से देखे, तो गुजरात का फैसला आम आदमी पार्टी के लिए बहुत बड़ी जीत है। अभी तक आम आदमी पार्टी का कार्यकर्ता जब टोपी पहन कर कार्यालयों में जाता था तो उसको उपेक्षा की नजरों से देखा जाता था। लेकिन आज देश की जनता ने कहा कि हम सिर्फ दिल्ली और पंजाब तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि हम देश की राष्ट्रीय पार्टी बन गए हैं। मैं आम आदमी पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक अरविंद केजरीवाल की तरफ से देश की जनता को बधाई देना चाहता हूं कि आपके प्यार और आशीर्वाद से आम आदमी पार्टी अब राष्ट्रीय पार्टी बन गई है। अब आम आदमी पार्टी का पूरे देश में विस्तार करना है और धीरे-धीरे करके आम आदमी पार्टी का परचम देश के हर राज्य में फहराना है। जनता की सेवा का संकल्प लेकर हम लोग ऐसे ही आगे बढ़ते रहेंगे। गुजरात की जनता ने जो जनादेश हमें दिया है, हम सिर झुकाकर उसका सम्मान करेंगे। एक नजरिया से देखे तो गुजरात में भाजपा, हिमाचल में काग्रेस और एमसीडी में आम आदमी पार्टी जीत गई। आम आदमी पार्टी राष्ट्रीय पार्टी भी बन गई। आज उत्तर प्रदेश के उपचुनाव में भाजपा हार गई और समाजवादी पार्टी जीत गई। उपचुनाव के जो नतीजे आए हैं, यह भारतीय जनता पार्टी के लिए बड़ा संकेत है। यह अच्छी बात है कि भाजपा अपने गढ़ गुजरात में अच्छी जीत हासिल की है, लेकिन जो बाकी परिणाम हैं, इसे देखकर साफ है कि भाजपा की वैसी ही हवा हर जगह नहीं चल रही है। अब देश में हवा बदल रही है। यह संकेत भी इन चुनाव में साफ देखने को मिल रहा है।
दिल्लीवालों ने आम आदमी पार्टी को पैदा किया, पंजाब ने आगे बढ़ाया, गोवा ने राष्ट्रीय पार्टी बनने के मुहाने तक पहुंचाया और आज गुजरात ने राष्ट्रीय पार्टी बना दिया -गोपाल राय
आम आदमी पार्टी के दिल्ली प्रदेश संयोजक गोपाल राय ने कहा कि दिल्ली के लोगों ने आम आदमी पार्टी को जन्म दिया और पंजाब के लोगों ने आम आदमी पार्टी को फलते फूलते आगे बढ़ाया। गोवा के लोगों ने अपना समर्थन देकर आम आदमी पार्टी को राष्ट्रीय पार्टी बनने के मुहाने तक पहुंचाया और आज गुजरात के लोगों के समर्थन और प्यार ने आम आदमी पार्टी को राष्ट्रीय पार्टी बना दिया। भाजपा के गढ़ गुजरात में आज 35 लाख से ज्यादा लोगों ने झाड़ू का परचम लहरा कर दिल्ली वालों द्वारा पैदा की गई आम आदमी पार्टी को राष्ट्रीय पार्टी का दर्जा देकर एक इतिहास रचा है। यह छोटी बात नहीं है। चाहे चुनाव परिणाम कुछ भी हो। गुजरात में कोई अगर हिलता भी है तो उसे अपना सारा कुछ गवाना पड़ता है। उसे अपने कारोबार और जान का रिस्क लेना पड़ता है। ऐसे माहौल में गुजरात के लोगों ने आम आदमी पार्टी को राष्ट्रीय पार्टी बनाने का फैसला किया है। इसके लिए मैं गुजरात के लोगों को बधाई देना चाहता हूं। गुजरात के लोगों ने खिड़की खोल दी है, अगली बार गुजरात का दरवाजा टूटेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि जब हम लोगों ने आम आदमी पार्टी बनाने का निर्णय लिया था। तब लोग कहते थे कि देश में हजारों पार्टियां हैं। एक पार्टी और बना लोगे तो क्या हो जाएगा। लेकिन आंदोलन के गर्व से आम आदमी पार्टी निकली और आज एमसीडी में प्रचंड जीत हासिल करके आम आदमी पार्टी आगे बढ़ रही है। दिल्ली में भी हमारी सरकार है।
देश का कोई ऐसा हिस्सा नहीं है, जहां पर आम आदमी पार्टी का वालेंटियर नहीं है- गोपाल राय
उन्होंने कहा कि जब आम आदमी पार्टी का गठन हुआ तो हर व्यक्ति एक ही बात कहता था कि आम आदमी पार्टी कांग्रेस को तो हरा सकती है लेकिन भाजपा का कुछ नहीं बिगाड़ सकती। आम आदमी पार्टी इस संदेश के साथ राष्ट्रीय पार्टी बन रही है कि देश के लोग अगर खड़े हो जाएं तो इस झाड़ू में इतनी ताकत है कि कांग्रेस के साथ-साथ भाजपा की भी गंदगी साफ कर सकती है। देश का कोई हिस्सा नहीं है, जहां पर आम आदमी पार्टी का वालेंटियर नहीं है। मैं आम आदमी पार्टी के सभी वालेंटियर से कहना चाहता हूं कि अभी तक आपको सिंबल के लिए संघर्ष करना पड़ता था। अभी हम सिर्फ दिल्ली और पंजाब में मान्यता प्राप्त पार्टी थे। गोवा में इस बार के चुनाव में हम मान्यता प्राप्त पार्टी बने। इसके अलावा देश के दूसरे राज्य में जहां भी आम आदमी पार्टी चुनाव लड़ रही थी, वहां सिंबल के लिए संघर्ष करना पड़ता था और हमें अलग-अलग सिंपल मिलता था। अब आम आदमी पार्टी राष्ट्रीय बन गई है और अब पूरे देश के अंदर चुनाव में झाड़ू का ही सिंबल मिलेगा। चाहे आप किसी भी जगह पर चुनाव लड़ेंगे। आज गुजरात के लोगों ने झाड़ू का निशान आम आदमी पार्टी के लिए रिजर्व कर दिया है और अब पूरे देश में झाड़ू चलाने का रास्ता साफ हो गया है। मैं संगठन के सभी पदाधिकारियों से कहना चाहता हूं कि अब हमें नया अवसर मिला है। अब संगठन निर्माण में सहयोग दें और पूरे देश में संगठन विस्तार की प्रक्रिया को आगे बढ़ाएं। भाजपा गुजरात चुनाव जरूर जीती है लेकिन यूपी समेत अन्य राज्यों में हुए उपचुनाव, एमसीडी और हिमाचल चुनाव में भाजपा की हार हुई है। जनता साफ संकेत दे रही है कि बदलाव भी संभव है। जिस तरह से देश में महंगाई और बेरोजगारी है, शिक्षा और स्वास्थ्य व्यवस्था का खस्ताहाल है। पूरा देश बदलाव चाहता है। गुजरात ने वह रास्ता खोला है। दिल्ली से आवाज निकली है कि झाड़ू हर तरह के बदलाव कर सकती है। हमारे जिंदगी को बेहतर बना सकती है। आज आम आदमी पार्टी में भाजपा का संगठन के स्तर पर भी मुंहतोड़ जवाब देने की शक्ति पैदा हो चुकी है। सभी वालेंटियर अपने गांव मोहल्ले में संगठन बनाएं। संगठन के माध्यम से ही जीत का रास्ता निकलेगा। दिल्ली, पंजाब, गोवा और गुजरात होते हुए देश में बदलाव का रास्ता निकलेगा।

आम आदमी पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय सचिव पंकज गुप्ता ने कहा कि 26 नवंबर 2012 को हम सबने मिलकर आम आदमी पार्टी की नींव रखी थी। आज लगभग 10 साल पार्टी को पूरे हो गए और गुजरात की जनता ने “आप” की मेहनत और हिम्मत पर अपनी मुहर लगाई है। अब आम आदमी पार्टी पूरे देश में ऐसी पार्टी के नाम पर जानी जाएगी, जिसने इस देश की राजनीति को बदला है। जिस देश में शिक्षा नहीं थी, लोग स्वास्थ्य के लिए दर-दर भटकते रहते थे। बिजली-पानी जैसी मूलभूत सुविधाओं के लिए तरसते थे। गुजरात की जनता ने यह बताया है कि इस देश में केजरीवाल जी ने शिक्षा-स्वास्थ्य, बिजली-पानी का जो मॉडल दिया, उसे पूरे देश में फैलाना है। राष्ट्रीय पार्टी बनना आज एक छोटा सा कदम है। गुजरात की जनता ने चुनौती दी है कि जो मॉडल आपने दिल्ली में शुरू किया, उसे पूरे देश के कोने-कोने में ले जाकर दिखाना है। मुझे पूरा विश्वास है कि जिस हिम्मत, हौसले और लगन के साथ आप लोग दिन-रात देश के हर कोने मेहनत करते हो। जिस उम्मीद व सपने के साथ हमने पार्टी की नींव रखी थी। हमने शिक्षित, स्वस्थ और भ्रष्टाचार मुक्त भारत का सपना देखा था, उसे हम अरविंद केजरीवाल जी के नेतृत्व में लागू करके दिखाएंगे।
आम आदमी पार्टी को राष्ट्रीय दर्जा मिलने के मायने-
- आम आदमी पार्टी का चुनाव चिन्ह या पार्टी चिन्ह झाड़ू परमानेंट हो जाएगा। अब आम आदमी का पूरे देश में एक ही चुनाव चिन्ह होगा। पार्टी का यह झाडू चिन्ह उनके लिए रिजर्व होगा।
- राष्ट्रीय पार्टी का दर्जा मिलने के बाद आम आदमी पार्टी के उम्मीदवार अब बैलेट / ईवीएम में ऊपर नजर आ सकेगी (अल्फाबेट के मुताबिक)
- आम आदमी पार्टी को देश की राजधानी में एक दफ्तर मिल सकेगा।
- आम आदमी पार्टी को अब तक कुछ रुपए खर्च करके वोटर लिस्ट प्राप्त करनी होती थी लेकिन अब आम आदमी पार्टी को अधिकार होगा कि वह हर राज्य में वोटर लिस्ट मुफ्त में पा सकें।
- राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर अब आम आदमी पार्टी 20 से ज्यादा स्टार कैंपेनर को अपनी लिस्ट में शामिल कर सकती है। यह संख्या बढ़कर अब 40 तक पहुंच जाएगी।
- राष्ट्रीय दर्जा प्राप्त होने के बाद आम आदमी पार्टी को अब राष्ट्रीय स्तर के चुनाव में आम लोगों को संबोधित करने के लिए रेडियो और टेलीविजन पर समय मिल सकेगा।
- राष्ट्रीय दर्जा वाली पार्टी के अध्यक्ष, सरकारी आवास पाने के पात्र होते हैं।
- नामांकन पत्र में अब केवल एक प्रस्तावक की आवश्यकता रहेगी।
