With days left for Gujarat to go into polls, the Aam Aadmi Party is leaving no stone unturned in its campaigns. AAP National Convenor and Delhi CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal is himself camping in the state to reach out to the voters. While asserting that AAP is set to form the government in Gujarat, he said that only the AAP can cure the inflation and unemployment crisis in the country. Shri Arvind Kejriwal stated, “AAP government will give free electricity, world-class education-health and one thousand rupees a month to every woman, this will bring freedom from inflation. After stopping & investigating all paper leaks, all paper leakers will be imprisoned for 10 years, all government recruitments will be completed in one year and unemployment allowance will be given to all unemployed youths. AAP National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal said, “Everywhere in the state, the narrative seems to be the same, the traders feel extremely betrayed by the ruling BJP government. They have complained of being threatened by local politicians, of being forced to pay money to them, they often face insults from these people. How do you expect a trader to work in such pathetic conditions? This upcoming election is an election for change. Every trader in the state, and when we say ‘every trader’, we literally mean that nearly everyone who we have met, has come out openly and said that they want their working conditions to change and that they will vote for the Aam Aadmi Party. However, they also admit that they are afraid to say this in the open as they have to maintain good relations with the local politicians. But they have told us that on the date of polling, everyone will strongly come forward and vote for AAP.”
He said, “I would also like to make an appeal to all the traders of the state. What is the point in earning so much money when you do not get respect from the people around you? You do not deserve to face disrespect from the local politician, or from anyone for that matter. If a small-time crook who works for the local politician can call you at any time and abuse you and threaten you, then what is the point of such a life? Over here you have an opportunity to uproot this entire system that has exploited you for so long. When the AAP forms the government in Gujarat, you will be able to run your business and also gain respect from the people around you. No one will call you and threaten you and demand money from you, as we do not believe in such kind of politics. You will be able to earn better as well as the market conditions will be better with inflation and unemployment being reined in by the government. At the same time you will also have the respect that you deserve when AAP forms the government here. This is why all the traders of the state are supporting AAP and will vote in favour of our party in the upcoming elections.”
He added, “I would also like to use this opportunity to make a request to the women of Gujarat. We are all aware that you will come out strongly and vote for AAP, but I would also like to request you to urge your family members and friends to vote for us as well. The women will definitely vote for us as AAP is the only party at the moment that has come out and announced a plan to curb the inflation that everyone is suffering from. Even basic food items are so expensive at the moment, and it is the women who face the most problems at the time of inflation, as they are the ones who usually run the household. They have to manage the expenses of the household and it becomes extremely difficult when you have a limited income and it runs out in the first 15-20 days of the month and then you have to choose what to buy for your family and what to leave out. AAP has already announced that we will ensure that your electricity bill is zero from March 1st and this will benefit the women in our society the most as they will have surplus income to run the household. We have also promised that we will provide Rs 1000 in the bank account of our women, and this will give them some extra money to run their household.”
Shri Arvind Kejriwal said, “We have also promised that we will not let the private schools increase the fees in the next five years. An important step that we took in Delhi was that we made it mandatory for schools to take the permission of the state government before increasing the school fees. In the last seven years, no school in Delhi has increased the fees. If the AAP government is formed in Gujarat, I promise that we will not let any private school increase the fees in the state in the next five years. As of now, these institutions increase the fees as and when they like and this becomes difficult for middle class families. We have also said that we will ensure the citizens of the state receive good quality medical treatment and that too for free. We have done this in Delhi and the people are benefiting greatly from this scheme. Their medical costs are zero and therefore they have extra income to run the family. It is only the Aam Aadmi Party that is speaking on the issues of inflation and providing solutions to reduce the pressure of this inflation on the people of the state. No other party has provided any viable solution to reduce the pressure of inflation off your shoulders. Therefore so many people, particularly the youth of the state are coming out and strongly supporting AAP.”
He said, “We have also said that there have been as many as 12 exam paper leaks in the last 4-5 years and we will investigate each one of them and ensure that there are no more such incidents because it is the youth who suffer the most from such incidents. We will also ensure that those who were involved in these paper leaks go to jail for more than 10 years. We will also fill up all the vacancies in the government over the next one year and will ensure that there are no paper leaks this time around. We have also promised to work extremely hard to provide employment to our youth in the state and until the time we do not get them employment, we will provide Rs 3000 in their bank accounts as unemployment allowance. It is because AAP has a plan to solve the problems that the citizens of the state are facing, that the people are coming out and supporting it. Our surveys are also showing that particularly when it comes to the young and women voters, we are well ahead of other political parties. There is no comparison when it comes to the votes that AAP and other parties such as the BJP will receive. Therefore once again, I would like to request the young and the women voters to speak to their families and urge them to vote for AAP as well. You have to do whatever it takes to convince them and get them to the polling booth on voting day. “आप” के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि मैं खासतौर से गुजरात की महिलाओं और युवाओं से अपील करना चाहता हूं कि आप तो आम आदमी पार्टी को वोट दे रहे हैं, लेकिन इस बार आप अपने-अपने घर में जितने भी परिवार के सदस्य हैं, उन सब लोगों को भी आम आदमी पार्टी को वोट देने के लिए तैयार कीजिए। आप उनके साथ बैठकर उनको समझाइए और परिवार के सभी सदस्यों को आम आदमी पार्टी को वोट देने के लिए कहिए। इस बार गुजरात की सभी महिलाएं आम आदमी पार्टी को वोट दे रही हैं, क्योंकि पूरे देश के अंदर पहली बार कोई पार्टी आई है, जो कह रही है कि हम आपको महंगाई से छुटकारा दिला देंगे। देशभर में इतनी ज्यादा महंगाई हो गई है और महंगाई की मार सबसे ज्यादा महिलाओं को ही झेलनी पड़ती है, क्योंकि उनको घर चलाना पड़ता है। महीने के 15 से 20 दिन में पैसे खत्म हो जाते हैं। उसके बाद उनको समझ नहीं आता है कि घर का खर्चा कैसे चलाएं? आम आदमी पार्टी ने जो गारंटी दी है कि एक मार्च से आपके बिजली का बिल जीरो कर देंगे, इसका महिलाओं के अंदर बहुत ज्यादा समर्थन है। इससे महिलाएं बहुत ज्यादा खुश है कि हर परिवार के अंदर दो तीन हजार रुपए बच जाएंगे। हमने यह ऐलान किया है कि हर महिला के खाते में एक-एक हजार रुपए महीना डालेंगे, इससे भी महिलाएं बहुत खुश हैं। महिलाओं को लगता है कि इससे उन्हें महंगाई से थोड़ी राहत मिलेगी। हमने ऐलान किया है कि गुजरात के अंदर हम प्राइवेट स्कूलों की फीस नहीं बढ़ने देंगे। दिल्ली में हमने पिछले 7 साल से प्राइवेट स्कूलों की फीस नहीं बढ़ने दी है। दिल्ली में प्राइवेट स्कूल वालों ने जितनी गुंडागर्दी मचा रखी थी, हमने उसको खत्म कर दी है। गुजरात में भी आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार बनने के बाद कोई भी प्राइवेट स्कूल अगले 5 साल तक फीस नहीं बढ़ा पाएगा और अच्छी शिक्षा की व्यवस्था करेंगे। इससे भी परिवारों को महंगाई से मुक्ति मिलेगी। हम सभी परिवारों का सारा इलाज मुफ्त में करेंगे। सभी का शानदार और अच्छा इलाज कराएंगे और मुफ्त इलाज कराएंगे। इससे आपके घर का खर्चा बचेगा। पूरे देश में अकेली आम आदमी पार्टी ही एक ऐसी पार्टी है, जो आपको महंगाई से मुक्ति दिला सकती है।
