The Aam Aadmi Party has demanded the resignations of the Delhi LG & the Chief Secretary after the CBI gave its clean chit to Dy CM Shri Manish Sisodia on Friday. AAP Senior Leader and MLA Ms Atishi swiped at the BJP for defaming the Delhi Deputy CM and demanded an apology from its leaders on the occasion. She said, “CBI has given a clean chit to Dy CM Shri Manish Sisodia in the so-called Excise Policy case; the whole country is witnessing how BJP played out an elaborate fraud against him for six months. Delhi LG and Chief Secretary must resign immediately for misusing their position and power for helping BJP gain political mileage. LG and Chief Secretary sided with BJP to conspire against AAP, prepared long baseless reports against Dy CM Manish Sisodia and sent them to CBI. BJP was fooling the whole country for six months to defame the AAP and the Kejriwal Government. BJP repeatedly accused Dy CM Manish Sisodia of corruption by holding over 100 press conferences, but CBI could not find even a single penny worth of corruption despite several months of investigation. No matter how many fake cases BJP makes the ED-CBI file, they won’t be able to find any corrupt dealings because AAP is a fanatically honest party. Demand the BJP to apologise to Dy CM Manish Sisodia in the same manner they defamed him by holding five press conferences every day.”
Ms Atishi said, “The CBI today filed its chargesheet into the so-called Excise Policy matter. This completely cooked up scam has been pumped up to the levels of a media trial over the last six months by the BJP and its stooges. They went around every nook and corner tarnishing the image of Delhi Deputy CM Shri Manish Sisodia. But despite months of investigation, interrogation and raids, when India’s premier investigative agency, the CBI filed its chargesheet today, it did not even mention the name of Shri Manish Sisodia even once. The CBI could not frame up a single charge against Shri Manish Sisodia. Today it has been proven that an honest, innocent man was harassed and defamed by the BJP for over six months with no basis. It has been proven that the BJP has been cheating and playing a huge fraud with the people of this country. It has been proven that this whole scam was cooked up to defame the AAP, CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal and Dy CM Shri Manish Sisodia.”
She added, “The signs of BJP’s fraud were evident from the start itself. The BJP couldn’t even pinpoint the quantum of loss in their allegations. Some said it’s a 1.5 lac crore scam, some 2,500 crores, some 1,100 crores, some 140 crores, some 30 crores. BJP kept making new allegations every day. But when the CBI raided Shri Manish Sisodia’s residence and office, they found nothing. When they searched his locker, went to his ancestral village, they returned empty handed. And now after months of investigation, the CBI stands empty handed again.”
She continued, “I am of the opinion that this is the first case of its nature wherein the ruling party, the BJP, did over 100 press conferences to defame a sitting Deputy CM. Today, I demand from the BJP to hold another press conference and apologise to Shri Manish Sisodia just as how you defamed him every day. The CBI has not been able to find a single penny worth of wrongdoing despite its investigation because the AAP is a fanatically honest party.”
She concluded, “No matter how many fake allegations the BJP puts out, no matter how many fake press conferences they do, no matter how many fake cases they make the CBI, ED file, the BJP will never be able to prove a single allegation against the AAP. The Aam Aadmi Party’s commitment and resolve towards honesty is so strong that no force in the world can shake it. This whole scenario proves how the Delhi LG and the Chief Secretary mastered a whole plot against the AAP at the behest of the BJP. The whole game of filing absolutely rubbish reports against Shri Manish Sisodia has been exposed today. These people used these baseless reports to deceive the CBI. We demand the Chief Secretary of Delhi to immediately resign for misusing his position and power in the favour of a political party. We demand the Delhi LG to vacate his post for someone more competent, taking responsibility for hatching conspiracies with the BJP. And the BJP, in turn, should hold five press conferences per day to apologise to Shri Manish Sisodia for willfully damaging his image.”

आम आदमी पार्टी की वरिष्ठ नेता और विधायक आतिशी ने पार्टी मुख्यालय में आज महत्वपूर्ण प्रेस वार्ता को संबोधित किया। उन्होंने कहा कि आज सीबीआई ने तथाकथित एक्साइज पॉलिसी घोटाले में चार्जशीट दायर की है। यह वो तथाकथित घोटाला है जिसके बारे में पिछले 6 महीने से भारतीय जनता पार्टी गली-मोहल्ले, छत पर चढ़कर, प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेस करके बार-बार केवल एक ही बात कह रही थी कि मनीष सिसोदिया ने सबसे बड़ा घोटाला किया है। उसी भाजपा की केंद्रीय जांच एजेंसी सीबीआई आज कई महीनों की जांच के बाद जब चार्जशीट दायर करती है तो उस चार्जशीट में मनीष सिसोदिया का नाम ही नहीं होता है। पूरे देश के सामने आज साबित हो गया है कि भाजपा पिछले 6 महीने से सिर्फ फर्जीवाड़ा कर रही है। मनीष सिसोदिया, आम आदमी पार्टी और अरविंद केजरीवाल की सरकार का नाम बदनाम करने की कोशिश कर रही है।
उन्होंने कहा कि पहले तो भाजपा वालों को यह पता नहीं था कि कितने का घोटाला हुआ है। उनका कोई प्रवक्ता कहता था कि ढाई हजार करोड़ रुपये का घोटाला हुआ है तो कोई 1100 करोड़ रूपये का घोटाला कहता था। किसी ने कहा 140 करोड़ रूपये का घोटाला हुआ तो किसी ने कहा 30 करोड़ रूपये का घोटाला हुआ। भाजपा दिन रात अलग-अलग घोटाले का आरोप लगाती रही। लेकिन जब मनीष सिसोदिया जी के घर पर रेड की, उन्हें कुछ नहीं मिला। मनीष सिसोदिया जी के लॉकर, उनके पैतृक गांव, कार्यालय पर रेड की लेकिन उन्हें कुछ नहीं मिला। कई महीने की जांच के बाद भी आजतक सीबीआई को कुछ नहीं मिला।
विधायक आतिशी ने कहा कि मुझे लगता है कि यह इस देश के इतिहास का पहला ऐसा केस होगा, जिसपर सत्तारूढ़ भारतीय जनता पार्टी ने 100 से ज्यादा प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेस की होंगी। इनमें बार-बार आरोप लगाया कि मनीष सिसोदिया जी भ्रष्टाचारी है। भाजपा से कहना चाहूंगी कि अब एक और प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेस कीजिए। जिस तरह आप एक दिन में कई प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेस करके मनीष सिसोदिया पर आरोप लगाते थे, अब रोज प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेस करके मनीष सिसोदिया से माफी मांगिए। क्योंकि आप की ही केंद्र सरकार की जांच एजेंसी सीबीआई कई महीनों की जांच के बाद एक रुपये के भ्रष्टाचार का प्रमाण नहीं ढूंढ पाई है। क्योंकि आम आदमी पार्टी एक कट्टर ईमानदार पार्टी है। भाजपा चाहे जितने झूठे आरोप, झूठे केस अपनी पुलिस, सीबीआई औऱ ईडी से करवाले लेकिन आज तक वो न तो एक पैसे का भ्रष्टाचार साबित कर पाए है और न ही कर पाएंगे। क्योंकि आम आदमी पार्टी एक कट्टर ईमानदार पार्टी है।
उन्होंने कहा कि आज यह भी साबित हुआ कि भाजपा के साथ मिलकर दिल्ली के एलजी और दिल्ली के चीफ सेक्रेटरी ने षड्यंत्र किया। यह षड्यंत्र दिल्ली के एलजी और दिल्ली के चीफ सेक्रेटरी से शुरू हुआ। जहां लंबी-लंबी रिपोर्ट्स मनीष सिसोदिया के खिलाफ भेजी गई। इन रिपोर्ट्स को सीबीआई के पास भेजा गया और इनके आधार पर जांच कराई गई। लेकिन आज यह सामने आ गया कि कोई भी सबूत मनीष सिसोदिया जी के खिलाफ नहीं है। हम मांग करते है कि भाजपा के साथ मिलकर षड्यंत्र करने वाले चीफ सेक्रेटरी और एलजी को आज ही इस्तीफा देना चाहिए, क्योंकि उन्होंने अपने पद का दुरूपयोग किया।
