The Aam Aadmi Party foiled yet another gross attack by BJP in a desperate attempt to cover up its colossal failure during its reign in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) for 15 years. With a massive defeat in MCD elections looming large, BJP has resorted to dirty politics to divert the attention of the people from its corruption and maladministration in the MCD. A stalwart in Delhi’s politics and AAP’s MCD candidate Shri Mukesh Goel lashed out at the BJP for circulating fake audios and doctored videos to malign his reputation built over four decades. He said, “I will file a defamation case against BJP Spokesperson Sambit Patra and his associates for circulating fake audios and doctored videos. Sambit Patra has presented the video with such lofty words as if the entire script was written in his presence: Mukesh Goel. I am ready to be probed by any investigative agency in the country.”
Shri Mukesh Goel said, “Bharatiya Janata Party has today released an audio which is completely fabricated and the video clipping is also edited and is from different conversations that have been edited together. The BJP has controlled the MCD for the last 15 years and during this period it has been involved in multiple scams and instances of corruption. Now with the MCD elections just a few days away, it is releasing such fabricated audio clippings to divert attention from its mismanagement of the MCD. I do not need to prove to the people of Delhi about my sincerity, I have been involved in the politics of Delhi for the last 35-40 years. I have been a part of the MCD for the last 25 years and have worked at several different positions within the corporation. In this period, no one has levelled any corruption charges against me of even a single penny.”
He added, “The elections are due soon and the BJP can see itself losing badly in the MCD elections. We are 100 percent certain that Shri Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party will win the upcoming MCD elections. Therefore the BJP has resorted to such cheap tactics of releasing fabricated audio clips and making false charges against people involved in AAP. The people of this city are tired of the corruption that the BJP has indulged in within the MCD and therefore this time around BJP will be shown the exit door of the MCD. It is to divert the attention of the people from their corruption that earlier today BJP Spokesperson Sambit Patra held a press conference and for over 30 minutes and spread false narratives against our party workers. He spoke with such conviction in this matter and it seemed as if this entire conversation had taken place in front of him. The BJP has tried to spread such lies in the past as well and therefore the people do not trust them.”
He concluded, “Looking at the love and support of the residents of Delhi, we are certain that the Aam Aadmi Party will win the elections and that the BJP will face a humiliating loss this time around. As regarding these false allegations levelled by the BJP, I am willing to be investigated by any agency in the country. I would also like to inform you all that I will be filing a defamation case against Sambit Patra and the rest of the members of the BJP who are involved in levelling these false allegations against me.”

‘आप’ नेता मुकेश गोयल ने कहा कि एमसीडी चुनाव में केजरीवाल की जीत भांपते हुए आम आदमी पार्टी की छवि खराब करने के लिए भाजपा ने फर्जी वीडियो जारी किया है। फर्जी ऑडियो-वीडियो जारी करने के लिए बीजेपी प्रवक्ता संबित पात्रा और उनके साथियों के खिलाफ मानहानि का मुकदमा दर्ज करूंगा। संबित पात्रा जी ने जिस लच्छेदार भाषा के साथ वीडियो दिखाया, ऐसा लग रहा है जैसे वह खुद मौके पर मौजूद थे और सारी स्क्रिप्ट उनके सामने लिखी गई हो। मैं सभी जांच एजेंसियों से जांच कराने के लिए तैयार हूं। पिछले 30-40 वर्षों से दिल्ली की राजनीति में हूं लेकिन आजतक एक उंगली मुझपर नहीं उठी।
आम आदमी पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेता मुकेश गोयल ने शुक्रवार को पार्टी मुख्यालय में एक महत्वपूर्ण प्रेसवार्ता को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि भाजपा ने एक ऑडियो जारी किया है जो कि फर्जी है। जो वीडियो ली गई है वह भी डॉक्टर्ड है। उसे इधर उधर से इकट्ठा किया गया है। दिल्ली नगर निगम में 15 सालों से भाजपा की सरकार है। भाजपा अपने 15 सालों के भ्रष्टाचार से ध्यान हटाने के लिए इस तरह की कार्रवाई कर रही है। मुझे अपने बारे में किसी को कुछ बताने की आवश्यकता नहीं है। मैं लगभग 30-40 वर्षों से दिल्ली की राजनीति में हूं। और 25 वर्षों से निगम में हूं। मैंने विभिन्न पदों पर काम किया है लेकिन मेरे ऊपर आजतक एक उंगली नहीं उठी।
उन्होंने कहा कि भाजपा के लोगों को आज एमसीडी चुनाव में अपनी हार दिखाई दे रही है और केजरीवाल की सरकार बनती दिख रही है। इसी कारण से हम लोगों की छवि खराब करने के प्रयास से अलग-अलग आरोप लगाते रहेंगे। मैं विश्वास दिलाता हूं कि दिल्ली की जनता भाजपा के 15 सालों के भ्रष्टाचार से तंग आ चुकी है। यह जो फर्जी वीडियो संबित पात्रा जी ने लच्छेदार भाषा का प्रयोग करते हुए जारी किया है, ऐसा लग रहा है जैसे वह वहीं बैठे हुए थे। जैसे यह सारी स्क्रिप्ट उन्हीं के सामने लिखी जा रही थी। निगम का चुनाव 100% आम आदमी पार्टी जीत रही है। भाजपा चुनाव हार रही है इसलिए ऐसा कर रही है। मैं किसी भी जांच एजेंसी से जांच कराने को तैयार हूं। साथ ही मैं संबित पात्रा जी और उनके साथ बैठे लोगों के खिलाफ मानहानि का केस दर्ज करूंगा।
