भारतीय जनता पार्टी दिल्ली में पूरी तरह से हार की हताशा में है। इसी कारण वह गंदी राजनीति पर उतारू हो गई है। उसके पास अब कोई हथकंड़ा नहीं बचा है। इसी कारण वह ओछी राजनीति कर रही है। मैं दिल्ली के लोगों व छात्रों से अपील करता हूं कि शांति बनाए रखें। किसी तरह की हिंसा में शामिल न हों। आम आदमी पार्टी किसी तरह की हिंसा के बेहद खिलाफ है। हम किसी भी तरह के हिंसा का समर्थन नहीं करते हैं। हर तरह की हिंसा के लिए जिम्मेदार लोगों पर कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए। हिंसा करने व कराने वालों का पता लगाने के लिए विस्तृत जांच आवश्यक है। यह कहना है आम आदमी पार्टी के प्रदेश संयोजक गोपाल राय का।

सोमवार पार्टी मुख्यालय में हुई एक प्रेस वार्ता को संबोधित करते हुए आम आदमी पार्टी के दिल्ली प्रदेश संयोजक एवं कैबिनेट मंत्री गोपाल राय ने कहा कि जिस प्रकार से कल जामिया में हिंसा की घटना हुई, छात्रों पर पुलिस का दमन चक्र चला और उसके बाद भाजपा के नेताओं के बयान आना शुरू हुए, यह भाजपा की गंदी और दमनकारी राजनीति को प्रदर्शित करता है।

गोपाल राय ने कहा कि कल की घटना के सारे साक्ष्य जनता के सामने आने के बाद भाजपा के नेताओं ने झूठा प्रचार करना शुरू कर दिया है। भाजपा आम आदमी पार्टी और आप विधायक अमानतुल्लाह खान पर हिंसा भड़काने का झूठा आरोप लगा रही है। जबकि यह बात साबित हो गई है कल ओखला में दो प्रोटेस्ट हुए थे एक स्थानीय लोगों का प्रोडक्ट था जिसमें आम आदमी पार्टी के विधायक अमानतुल्लाह खान मौजूद थे और वहां किसी भी प्रकार की कोई हिंसा नहीं हुई थी। उन्होंने कहा की कल जो घटना हुई उसको लेकर कई सारे प्रश्न उठ रहे हैं जिस प्रकार से पुलिस विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन की अनुमति के बिना अंदर दाखिल हुई छात्रों को पीटा लाइब्रेरी में तोड़फोड़ की इसकी निष्पक्ष जांच होनी चाहिए। और जो लोग भी इस हिंसा की घटना में दोषी पाए जाएं उनके खिलाफ सख्त से सख्त कार्रवाई की जाए।

उन्होंने कहा कि आम आदमी पार्टी किसी भी प्रकार की हिंसा और हिंसक प्रदर्शन का समर्थन नहीं करती है। मीडिया के माध्यम से गोपाल राय ने दिल्ली और देश की जनता एवं छात्रों से अपील करी, कि किसी भी प्रकार की हिंसा में शामिल ना हो, शांति पूर्ण ढंग से अपनी बात रखें। हार की हताशा में भाजपा हमेशा इस प्रकार की हिंसक राजनीति का सहारा लेती है और चुनाव जीतने के लिए भाजपा किसी भी हद तक जा सकती है।

गोपाल राय ने कहा कि जब से अमित शाह जी देश के गृहमंत्री बने हैं देश की कानून व्यवस्था पूरी तरह से चरमरा गई है। अमित शाह जी के गृह मंत्री बनने के बाद से जिस प्रकार दिल्ली पुलिस हर घटना को लाठियों और गोलियों के दम पर नियंत्रित करने की कोशिश कर रही है, जिस प्रकार से वकीलों पर लाठियां चलाई गई, गोलियां चलाई गई, जिस प्रकार से जेएनयू के छात्रों पर लाठियां चलाई गई, जिस प्रकार से दिव्यांगों पर लाठियां चलाई गई, यह इस बात को साबित करता है कि देश में कानून व्यवस्था पूरी तरह से फेल हो गई है। यह घटना भारतीय जनता पार्टी के नेतृत्व की नाकामी को दर्शा रही है।

मीडिया के माध्यम से गोपाल राय ने दिल्ली की जनता और दिल्ली के छात्रों से भी अपील करी कि किसी भी प्रकार के हिंसक प्रदर्शन में ना फंसे, दिल्ली की शांति व्यवस्था को बनाए रखने में सहयोग करें। क्योंकि दिल्ली में कानून व्यवस्था विफल हो चुकी है, गृह मंत्री अमित शाह पूरी तरह से फेल साबित हुए हैं, तो यह हम सबका दायित्व बनता है कि दिल्ली कि कानून एवं शांति व्यवस्था का भार हम सब के कंधों पर है और हम सब मिलकर दिल्ली की शांति व्यवस्था को बनाए रखें।

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party’s state convener Gopal Rai said today that the Bhartiya Janata Party is desperate because it is going to lose rhe upcoming Delhi assembly election. It is indulging in dirty politics because it has nothing else to offer voters. Rai appealed to the people of Delhi to maintain peace and ensure no one engages in any violence whatsoever. “AAP is completely against any kind of violence. Whoever has indulged in and instigated the violence must be punished after a thorough and independent probe of the entire matter,” said Rai.

“Yesterday, there were two protests in Okhla. In the first, citizens of the locality along with the legislator participated, where no violence happened. Secondly in Jamia Millia Islamia without the permission of the Vice-Chancellor and the proctor Police entered the campus, used teargas, and lathi-charged students in the library. Aam Aadmi Party demands an independent inquiry of this unwanted violence inside the university and the guilty should be punished”, he added.

“Ever since Shri Amit Shah assumed the office of the Home Minister in the center, the law and order situation has been deteriorating in Delhi. Under his command, Delhi Police brutally handles all issues and protests in Delhi with lathi and bullets. Earlier Police lathi-charged lawyers, JNU students, and later differently-abled people. The law and order system has completely collapsed in Delhi. Crimes against women and incidents of murder and theft have risen in Delhi. Everyone feels that no law exists in Delhi. This is evidence of the failure of BJP’s policies. It also testifies the history and ideology of BJP in indulging in dirty politics for power. Today, the court convicted Kuldeep Sengar, a legislator of BJP in Uttar Pradesh in the Unnao rape case. It reveals that in BJP, there is no value for ethics and morality. They can go to any extent for power”, Shri Gopal Rai added.

“Aam Aadmi Party appeals to the people of Delhi, youth and students, to take the responsibility of maintaining peace and harmony in Delhi, as the union home ministry terribly failed and at the same time fight for justice in a harmless manner so that Delhi will progress further”, he said.

“AAP MLA Amanathulla Khan is not involved in any violence. He has not instigated violence. Where ever the violence happened, he was not present. In the Dharna he attended, no violence occurred. The burning of buses and vehicles happened in a different place. All video footage available should be examined to ascertain the role of various people including police and the protesters and the conspiracy behind the unwanted violence. There should be an independent probe into the entire episode and the guilty must be punished, ” said Gopal Rai.

“Aam Aadmi Party demands that those who involved in violence should be identified and punished. But lathi-charging the innocent and leaving the actual culprits free is not acceptable. It is condemnable. The peaceful situation gives way for peace. Now peace and harmony should be maintained. This should be the most important priority. We appeal to the people to ensure peace and thereby creating an environment of mindful and mature politicking,” said Gopal Rai.

“We sought time to meet the Union Home Minister. We wish to discuss the law and order issues with the union minister and find ways to solve them effectively. This is what the government and the party wants. All political parties also should strive hard to attain peace in the city. If BJP resorts to dirty politics for electoral gains, the people of Delhi will give them an appropriate answer. In Delhi, politics of development gets acceptance, not politics of division and distrust,”added Gopal Rai.
