It has been observed that during the financial year 2017-18, the corporation disbursed loan to 261 beneficiaries belonging to the target groups under different schemes. During the financial year 2017-18 the achievement was more in comparison to the last years achievement 2016-17 i.e. 255 beneficiaries.
During current financial year, 2018-19 90 till 14.12.2018, the corporation disbursed loan to 212 beneficiaries. The corporation expects to achieve more before the end of current financial year in comparison to previous year.
During financial year, 2016-17 , the corporation sponsored 682 candidates for imparting vocational training under different trades /courses through National Small Industries Corporation and Apparel Textiles Design Centre.
To cope up with the demand in present scenario, the corporation has planned to impart new vocational courses to meet the increasing demands of the industries.
Action Taken Report has also been placed before board; it has been found that annual accounts were not prepared after 2003-04. Last year, Minister gave strict instruction to prepare and complete the annual accounts till this financial year. Board is happy to share that the work was speed up and as of now, the corporation has already prepared the annual accounts up-to the financial year 2016-17.
Statutory Audit of accounts of the corporation was also pending since 2004. But after the Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam intervention, the corporation has completed the statutory audit of accounts from the financial year 2004-05 to 2011-12. The audit for the financial years 2012-13 to 2015-16 has been started.
Board has set up a committee of officers of DSFDC to review the loan schemes and to suggest the measures to be taken for simplification thereof. The said committee will submit its recommendations on :
1. Waiver of processing fee under composite loan scheme, transport scheme and education loan scheme.
2. Simplification of various loan schemes and ease of the processing structure to get maximum number of beneficiaries availing the services.
3. To simplify terms and conditions for Delhi Swarojgar Yojana, so that street vendors and person involved in petty business can get hassle free loan easily.
